EGMAT was the only prep tool I used for my preparation. Flexibility that I got from the EGMAT course helped me learn at my own pace. Approach presented in strategy sessions helped me in maximizing my strengths while improving on my weaknesses. E-GMAT's approach of pre-thinking for CR and meaning based approached for Sentence correction helped me improve my Verbal from V25 when I started to V35 on my actual GMAT. Though I made more mistakes than I would like in RC which reflected in my Verbal score, E-GMAT RC webinar was the reason I purchased the course. EGMAT ability tests and scholaranium helped me understand my weaknesses in Quant and address them. Live-prep sessions help you with specific issues which you can work with instructors who are really helpful.
When I started my preparation for GMAT, I was of the opinion that I just need hone in and improve my verbal sklls. Having a strong background in Maths, I thought that I would just breeze through it at the end, spending 10-15 percent of my alloted prep number of hours. But based on some reviews on the Quant Live Prep program offered by e-GMAT and a bit of gut feeling, I decided to add the course to my cart along with its verbal counterpart. Today when I look back, I think it was a very decisive move to go through the Quant Live prep course which is one of the best, if not the best available course for Quant available in the market.
We tend to ignore what we already know and understand and work on our weaknesses. However, this may be the case but we need to work on our strengths too and do not ignore them or keep them for the end as this might drastically influence the end result. In my case, I was too focussed on the Verbal part, providing little attention to the Quant section. Inspite of it, I did attend the Quant live sessions just to keep the ball rolling and the concepts afresh in my mind. The sessions were of amazing quality with the level of questions discussed and solved using a step by step approach. The Quant course was extremely beneficial to me at the end when I had limited time before the exam. During this time, I had all the relevant concepts and files at one place and I did all the practice quizzes related to all the sections. This helped me immensely to revise and apply the concepts. The best part about the Quant Course is the Scholorannium part of it, which has more than a 1000 questions divided into easy, medium, hard and very hard pools. You can always practice the hard and very hard questions by creating a custom quiz, a practice which is very important to achieve a Q50-51.
I would really like to congratulate e-GMAT for the Quant live Prep course which they have created. It really captures everything from the basic concepts to the very hard application questions, the best part being you can pick and choose where to focus on depending on your current ability in Quant. And as per my Quant score on GMAT, I got a Q50 and did complete my Quant section in 60 minutes.
The E-GMAT material is really exhaustive and expertly made. The quality of concepts especially for Verbal is magnificent
I would recommend E-GMAT verbal to everyone especially non native English speakers as the concepts explained really suit and help the non natives. The E-GMAT scholaranium is unique and cements the verbal concepts in a meticulous way.The quality of verbal material is also unique in the way that it is very relevant to the actual GMAT exam and questions .
Also the E-GMAT team is very helping and online support extended by E-GMAT team is superb. If someone is looking for a drastic jump in his/her score then E-GMAT is the course to look out for.

I wrote my first GMAT in Nov 2014. Typically confident of doing the preparation myself, i choose to climb the mountain called GMAT in my own terms. And then i was stuck on a plateau. Q50 and V18 - 570 on GMAT. I was frustrated and sad as the question "who can help me when i can't help myself?" went unanswered. And then i decided to go through reviews and try out Sample live courses. E-Gmat was one of these and the only one i ended up checking: I have found what i wanted.
I took the live course as it can help me with clarifying all my doubts spot on.
The Pedagogy:
The material and recorded lessons are tailored for the non natives and exactly serves those problems that we face.
In SC, the part i was particularly poor at, the course focuses on the areas that we normally make mistakes in: those grammatical mistakes that have become 2nd nature to us. It explains this in a way that does not need us becoming an english literature student.
RC and CR chapters did help me a lot in tackling different type of questions. Pre-thinking in CR did really help me to improve my score without much effort. My RC accuracy also shot up with a minimal effort.
I took the exam again in 2017 Jan with only 20 days of preparation and increased my score from 570 (Q50, V18) to 630 (Q49,V27).
Customer support : It is quite responsive and co-operative. I wanted to attend classes i missed and support was given almost immediately in re-taking those. Must say they understand our problems quite well and have addressed them in their operations.
Verdict : If you are a non native and want to improve your tallies in less time and effort, look no where else. Do well and best wishes for your exam.
After struggling with other competitive exams in India, i realised i was not doing so well in Quant sections of these exams. But there was a pattern, i did exceptionally well in Verbal part. So I did my research and planned to appear for GMAT, after a good work experience.
Like everybody i did the Official guides and attempted 2 mocks and appeared for the exam, to my horror i scored too low in the Verbal section. I took some advice from friends and tried all sorts of ways to get better in Verbal. I struggled for an year with the right material and was in desperate need for help. I researched even more, and bought some international prep material, which proved to be of little help. I was struggling with the preparation and my recently changed job profile made it worse.
I came across EGMAT Verbal live course, i liked the approach, the course streamlines all the grammar topics, categorizes the critical reasoning questions and helps with Reading comprehension on a much deeper level of insight. I made comprehensive notes, excel sheets of each topic capturing the gist and errors.
Approach is the key here, there is no point practicing questions without observing the pattern and pre-thinking (linking facts and anticipating results). Here the course structure comes in handy.
The Live sessions not only help you to get in touch with the faculty but also clear the air regarding strategies.
Finally, i would like to point out that my accuracy rate was high but my time strategy was weak, i was not able to reach the end of the verbal section. Here prethinking comes into the picture, now i am able to finish the section with great confidence. In terms of scores, i scored V19 in the verbal (official figure), now in mocks (which are fairly true reflection of final score) i am consistently scoring in the range of 32-38 (To me that is huge). I have booked a date and will soon share the final numbers.
I would definitely recommend this course especially to those who have wasted their time and money in other sources and failed to get results.
Thank you so much guys, now i feel more confident and better prepared.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the team members of e-GMAT team for offering Quant Live Prep course.
I started the journey early this year and was pretty much confident on Q. I was spending my time (whatever available- 5-10 hrs a week) on V, as I was very confident on Q part. I took my first mock after booking my exam date with GMAC and just managed to receive Q39. I decided to go through the Q-course as I had realized If I cannot make my Q –score count, I really donot have a chance in the exam.
I have gone through each concept files and all the practice questions. All the pieces were great. In each of the concept files they have gone through all the ‘necessary’ pieces, and more importantly nothing was over or under done.
I was quite amazed with their structured approach of solving the DS problems. At least for me at the later stage of preparation and in the exam it saved some 30-50 s /question on the same type of problems.
Last but not the least the live sessions are exceptional. It gives a real time experience of the exam. The instructors and their real analysis are very good. And the most important were the queries from the other students. Those are really varied and if followed & analyzed carefully, would definitely help to clear the concept.
I really owe my 10 pt improvement in Q to Quant Live Prep course.
This course is highly recommended for all the students, even if you are aspiring for the stars in Gmat Q.
Thanks Again.
I am a non native GMAT aspirant who has an art background and weak in both the section of gmat. i started my gmat preparation 8 months back. I remember i used to struggle a lot in verbal section, be it sentence correction , critical reasoning or RC ;all used to give me hard time. It made me lose hope for a good score in GMAT exam. I didn’t know how i should improve my knowledge in both the section especially for verbal. I never used to pick right answer for right reasons and always believe in those options which sounded correct to my ears and wasn't bothered about subject verb, modifiers, idioms etc.i referred many books with thousands of grammar rules which was impossible for me to remember. Same with Quant books, many formulae and concepts.i wasn’t sure what to read and what not. I couldn’t filter myself .
Luckily i shared this problem to one my friend ,he suggested to join Egmat. I searched about it and went through the trial videos and some other. I found it best suitable for me. As it audio video option helped me to understand the concepts well. i joined the EGMAT-live prep course. Which consist both verbal and quant sections. The course is very comprehensive and holistic in nature. The concepts are taught in a very simplistic manner and the quizzes are very helpful to understand how the concepts are tested.
when i compare the results of no. Of questions i used to correct during the initial time of preparation and today, there is a huge difference. I have improved a lot.
The best part of the program is the Scholaranium. It has question ranging from easy to hard topic and one can easily refresh the entire course through them.Further ,it helps one to understand one's strength and weakness.
I am Planning to take my GMAT test after weeks and i hope i would score my target score.
I would like to thank Egmat and its team and hopefully these concepts learned from e-gmat will help achieving my target score .
I Would Definitely Recommend E GMAT live prep Course to anyone who is non native and looking to improve his GMAT score.
Thanks,
Lok

First time I had to face GMAT was in December 2016. Because of the illness I was left with only 2 weeks for practicing before the exam day. I was always good at Math, but the Verbal part seemed too challenging for me to handle. Nevertheless, I pushed myself to the limit during those 2 weeks and at the day of the exam saw a moderate score on the screen – 640 (Q49, V27). I applied to some MBA programs, but the ones I chose were too good to grant a place to a guy with such a score.
After this failure, I realized that if I want to score 700+, I need to improve my Verbal skills. I surfed the Internet and found out that a bunch of test-takers recommended that e-GMAT program be taken in order to hone one’s abilities to solve verbal questions, especially SC problems. So I enrolled.
I took the Verbal Live Prep course. I was provided with a list of materials that I needed to learn each day and instructed when and how to participate in online classes, which, by the way, are free of charge.
Firstly, I started the SC course, which helped me to brush up my knowledge of English grammar as well as to learn new things that are crucial for mastering SC questions. Most of all I liked the way in which the course is organized: first the concept of each theme is thoroughly explained with the use of video materials, than subject related tests are provided. Also, respective OG questions and answers are provided. The way in which e-GMAT team provides knowledge helped me increase the accuracy of solving SC questions up to 84 % from 50 % in about 3 weeks.
After finishing the SC course I started to practice the Critical Reasoning (CR). I easily handled this course with the help of both e-GMAT video lessons and Manhattan Prep’s study book. The only thing that I can say is that both materials helped me a lot by providing slightly different techniques of problem solving. I just want to mention that e-GMAT also has Q&A, which was very useful in many cases. When I finished the CR course the number of wrong answers decreased to about 13-15 %.
My last section was Reading Comprehension (RC). The best thing I liked in it is that e-GMAT team really tried its best to make RC questions the easiest ones to solve. Before the course I did not like RC part, as I thought of it as the toughest one. However, with the help of e-GMAT lessons now I know how to answer different types of RC questions without wasting time. Moreover, the course provides tips that help to stay interested and focused whether or not a test taker likes the topic.
A week ago I took my first mock test in GMAT PREP app and guess my happiness when I saw the result of all this learning – a 720 score. My Quant score was 50, and the Verbal one was 38 ! I plan to take another exam at the end of August and this time I aim at 740. Thanks to e-GMAT, the score that once seemed unreachable is closer than ever before !
UPDATE
3 weeks after I wrote this review I took my GMAT exam. My score was exactly 740 (Q50, V40) !
I started my GMAT journey 4 months ago , and I was on the lookout for a comprehensive verbal course that could give me a good foundation on the basics.
After using the e-GMAT verbal live prep over the course of a few months, I can say with full confidence that this made a difference to my preparation. Like most other non-native speakers, I evaluate words and sentences based on how it sounds in my mind. This required me to unlearn certain basics, and that is not an easy task. It takes multiple visits to the concepts in order to have it etched in my mind and come naturally to me under a pressure situation like the GMAT.
The well-focused Sentence Correction does exactly that. It goes over the basics over and over until you get it correctly each time. The live classes are very helpful, and by breaking down each part of the sentence, the confidence to solve a SC problem skyrockets.
Overall, I used the e-gmat for SC(indispensible), for CR(good), Scholaranium(indispensible) In addition the OG solutions for SC and CR are very clear in their reasoning, and saved me a ton of time that I would have spent otherwise hunting for answers from so many other sources and comments online.
I am still in the process of preparing for GMAT. I can say this with a lot of confidence that eGMAT's Verbal course is definitely one of the most exhaustive course available currently. All the required concepts are explained in a simple way. The best thing about the course is that the teaching method is very scientific. Watching videos are fun. Step-by-step process mentioned in the course will definitely help not only in building strong concepts but also in getting a higher score in Verbal.
There is absolutely no comparison to Scholaranium. It makes assessing your weakness crystal clear. I will highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve Verbal performance.
Will definitely share my performance once I am done with my GMAT.
