I would highly recommend the verbal live prep course offered by E-GMAT to anyone, no matter what stage you are in your GMAT prep. The course is very detailed and very well structured, which should not only beneficial to non native speaker but also to native speakers.
Each of the three sections starts out with foundation concepts, which will strengthen your basics and then the course builds on from there. As you move on to each subtopic, your confidence will increase which shall reflect on your scores. So for example, the critical reasoning foundation section emphasizes on teaching what a premise is and what a conclusion is and how to identify them in a simple and complex arguments. Once you train yourself to identify the premise and conclusion, then the course will build on how to find an assumption, and then how to strengthen or weaken an argument. And the best part, all of this is in interactive format. The live course is very engaging and will keep you motivated to study.

The Quant Live prep course offered by e-GMAT is phenomenal. I was struggling to get beyond Q35 when I started preparing for the GMAT with MGMAT books. This, by no means is a reflection on the quality of the MGMAT books. They are good and detailed. But for me, an interactive prep course was more suitable for my learning style. So after seeing a lots of positive reviews about e-GMAT‘s verbal live prep course on the GMAT club, I decided to sign up for their complete GMAT live prep course (includes both Verbal and Quant).
So they breakdown the quant section into 5 topics (N.P., Algebra, Geometry, Word Problems, and Advances quant) and further in sub topics. Every sub topic starts with a diagnostic test and then you complete a concept video which will develop your basics. Then you take an application quiz and answer OG questions related to the sub topics. After that you get to attend their live online sessions, which are structured very well. In live online sessions, the instructors will walk you through on how to apply the concepts you have learnt to 700 level questions. The live sessions are very detailed and you will learn to answer 700 level questions. In short, the e-GMAT course starts with basic level concepts and then builds up from there to help you to answer 700 level questions.
I struggled with Number Properties and had a very hard time answering 600 levels questions, especially data sufficiency questions. But with e-GMAT prep, I was able to strengthen my core concepts, which eventually helped to get to Q44.
I would highly recommend e-GMAT course to anyone, no matter what stage you are in your GMAT prep. They allow you to review some of their concept files for free and also let you attend couple of live sessions (I believe Number Properties 1 and Algebra) for free as well. You won’t regret it!

Hello,

If you're planning to take to take the GMAT in March or April of next year, then it might be little early to start studying. Please read this thread to decide when to start studying. https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-study-plan-217827.html?fl=menu

As far as additional materials, you will not need them. e-GMAT will cover topics in details. In order to grasp those topics, you will need to practice questions, which you can do through their Scholaranium, Official GMAT questions, and GMAT club questions.

Good luck!

I first took my GMAT in 2011 and scored a 600. My score was dismal and I was really upset with my score. However, as I had signed up for the CFA level 1 then I did not have the time to study for my GMAT at that point in time. I was also stuck working in finance pulling in 12 to 14 hour work days.

So I deferred taking my GMAT until I passed my CFA which happened in 2015. Along the way, I also got married and shifted into a new place.

So last year, with 5 years of experience under my belt, I decided now is the time that I have to work towards applying for business school, so I had to do my GMAT once again. I was stuck with my score of 600, which would really ensure that I did not get into any school that I wanted to get into. So I decided to sign up for E-GMAT, I first heard about E-GMAT in 2012. I had signed up for it then but did not really have the time to follow through due to the heavy workload at my workplace, volunteer and family commitments.

But I always remembered that the lessons were easy to follow and the frameworks were really helpful. I didn't need some course with lots of tips and tricks that are hard to remember. So I signed up for the Verbal life prep.

I went through the videos and learnt all the key concepts such as pre-thinking for CR questions, getting immersed in RC Passages and breaking down the sentence into more manageable chunks.

When I first took my GMAT my score was Q41 and V31. However, for my latest attempt, my verbal score improved to 40.

I am going to redo it again and I have signed up for E- GMAT Quant live prep. Wish me luck

HI,
I purchased the verbal online course 6 months back. Before the purchase, i was wondering which course to choose and which is the right organization to go with. Then I came across numerous reviews about E-gmat Verbal Online course. I found the reviews very encouraging and planned to attend their free Webinars without wasting any time.
The moment i attended the V- ing & V- ed Modifier fee Webinar, i made my mind to go ahead with the the same. The method i found was very exceptional.
Now when i have gone through about 80% of the course I must say the Verbal can' t be taught in so simplistic way.
The content is very relevant and rightly structured. Each course end quizzes keep you intact and motivated.
Though i have not practiced much on Scholarium, I found it very helpful in revising basics and helpful to concentrate on my speed. The quality of questions is awesome.
I strongly recommend the course and assure that you will feel the difference after the very first Session.
I have my GMAT in a months time and hopeful to touch the horizon.
I wish you all the very best for your preparation.
Regards..Shalesh

Being a non native English speaker, I had a bit of trouble doing SC questions. Then I found out about e-gmat through gmatclub and read the reviews. Seeing many positive reviews, I decided to take the package for sc. Now I can clearly say that I don’t regret y decisions. E-gmat SC course was very clear, I had learned all the concepts easily. Though my verbal score is less, I am pretty sure with a bit of practice and the concepts I learned from egmat will help me achieve a good score. I sincerely thank egmat for this wonderful package

Hi Everyone,
First my background:
I am an indian male with not IT background. As all Non native speakers, i lack skills in Verbal, and there fore it became necessary for me to make up majority of my score by boosting the Quant score.
Prep details:
I went though all the OG questions which one cannot compete in quality and as recommended by most Manhattan Quant guides but i still find my confidence lacking to reach the Q 50/51 highs.

Going though various reviews and bringing my over confidence down i decided to go through a structured course which will boost my confidence to achieve the 49-51 range.

I came across e-gmat quant course after reading various positive reviews on different GMAT Prep forums. First of all i was amazed to see the structure of the course which was very handy and easy to go through. You learn concepts then apply quizzes and later Application test and final ability quizzes. You get no reason in egmat course to not master in every single topic tested in the GMAT.
The live sessions with Rajat, Payal and Krishna were not less than an eye opener. i love the new techniques they taught like : analyzing and breaking down the DS question prior to reaching the options, number properties questions were never so easy to solve with the e-gmat techniques and algebra which has always been a night mare for me, I learnt the importance of bringing all the expressions in the left side of the inequality before breaking them down. This has left me stunned because i never messed up with the +_ signs after applying e-gmat principles in algebra. Also the graphical representation of the equations to solve for x is something i never knew.
I have improved already from Q46 to Q49 in my last GMAT exam and now i am preparing again to score Q50-51 in my next attempt.

This time i am focusing on the Quant scholaranium . This is the Custom test platform by egmat where one can select questions of different topics, different difficulty levels and adjust timings. As a result you also get detailed analysis of the timing and your performance and obviously the question explanations. A question bank of 700+ all level and topic questions is grooming my prep further and finally i feel that i can achieve my target score of Q50-51.

I would definitely recommend this course to all GMAT aspirants .

e-GMAT best resource for SC Verbal part

After stupidly wasting my time by trying to use/learn from various resources for verbal, I knew that I needed a change. My main weakness was SC section so I needed a really high-quality resource that would prepare me well. I switched my focus and decided to focus on one resource per part at maximum. After a lot of researching and reading I decided to go for e-GMAT with my SC prep. I read a lot of positive reviews about e-GMAT and hoped that they could deliver.
It was a great decision, which improved my Verbal score significantly. I can only praise and recommend e-GMAT for the Verbal preparation part of the GMAT. You won't regret it!

I would definitely not recommend this course to anyone. There is no way to clear your doubts and the videos are intuitive. I had so many doubts after going though the videos and there was no one to clear those. I did not see any improvement in my score. I got an additional one month online access for free but that was of no use. The support from the course tutor and the customer service was negligible and when I took the course I was assured of many services which later on I did not receive at all. Please do not take this course if you do not want to waste your money.

E-gmat is the best verbal course for non-natives. The content makers have done a great job in simplifying the verbal section and have actually made it interesting. Before starting my GMAT preparation (at the cost of sounding boastful), I thought I had strong verbal skills so I should be OK in this section. However this was proven wrong immediately when I took my first test. Shattered with my score, I decided to sign-up for e-gmat after reading all the reviews and my score started increasing pretty much after the first few SC videos. Their scholaranium is also a great tool to test your level periodically and make tweaks in your preparation as needed.

I was very weak in Verbal part of Gmat. I have given GMAT 3 times and in all the attempts did not score well in any of my attempts. After a lot search and analysis related to verbal course and ended up choosing E-Gmat Verbal Live Prep course. The structured approach of E-GMAT helps you identify each and very type of problem and GMAT throws at you. It helped me improve a lot as far as the Verbal section is concerned and helps me understand the nitty gritty of each type of questions.
I personally loved the Scholaranium which comes with verbal live prep. The explanation provided for the different question is awesome and in depth. The explanation is in accordance to the structured approach related to the Verbal Live Prep course.
