Dear GMAT-club community,
I would like to give credit to Experts' Global (EG) for my performance in GMAT.
Quant is one of my strong areas and I was consistently scoring 49-50 in that section in all mocks. I had no problems there.
However, verbal was a different story. In my initial mocks, my verbal scores ranged anywhere between 25 to 30; I used to run out of time and my %correct was terrible.
Two things that helped me improve and achieve my score -
1) Lots and lots of mocks - Repeated test taking gave me the confidence to endure and complete the 4 hour marathon (even if it meant I had to start a test in the middle of the night).
Having completed the entire EG test series (15 practise tests), the actual GMAT exam was just another mock for me (no seriously, although I had some jitters just before entering the exam hall, which was expected, but once I got started it was familiar territory!)
2) Strategies for each question type - The post-test answer discussion videos on Experts' Global are very useful.
I would urge anyone taking the EG test series to meticulously go through each video and make a note of the approach for every question type (even if you got the question right). The strategies laid out helped me crack CR and SC with relative ease.
If you're evaluating test series, I would highly recommend EG.
Wishing you the best with your GMAT Prep.
The test series resembles the actual test. One of the most realistic test series that i have given till date. Had taken the a couple of mock test series but expert global series was the closest to the actual test. Would recommend everyone to purchase the test series to get great practice. The level of the questions were very similar to the real gmat. The test series helped me get ample practice for the test. I attempted to give the tests every alternate day to get comfortable. Would recommend everyone to subscribe to this test series. It is a must have.
The test series simulates the actual GMAT exam (the User Interface ( UI )) is almost like that of the actual exam), and helped me prepare for the D Day.
I used the test series to prepare myself for the exam. Consistently scoring 740+ here gave me the confidence to attempt the exam without any fear.
Also, unlike the other test series there are 15 tests. So, I didn't need to worry about the limited opportunities to see if I was prepared.
I scored a 720 on the test and would definitely recommend Experts global to anyone who wants to score 700+ in the actual exam.
All the best to everyone out there :)
I was recommended for the course by a student who made the jump from 690 to 770.
The offered questions are very similar to the GMAT test, each of which have well explained solutions that could be applied to all similar questions. The tests greatly similar the actual GMAT which gives experts global an edge.
The test analytics are also pretty helpful as they tell the places where one needs to pick up the pace as time is a great leveler in the GMAT.
The team is also very cordial and approachable via email. All of my queries were resolved promptly with the team giving a call if the need arises.
Mayank Srivastava, with wide array of verbal tricks up his sleeve, is an exceptional teacher. He explains concepts in a very precise manner which helps you appreciate the logic in GMAT.
This course content is highly gmat like. For those who want a decent score within sort span of time ,this is ideal for them.I used the course for about 2 month and revised the course work and fundamental as much as i can.By the end i was able to grasp fundamental and advance concept .Most interesting parts
was its concept video and module exams according to difficulty level. The videos have covered the concept with ideal time. One will be able to see all the solutions videos which i find very helpful for difficulty question.I wish i have more time to prepare , i could have scored much better.
I will highly recommend to any GMAT aspirants having 2 to 3 moths of time for preparation.
I scored 720(q48) in second attempt. I understood that i needed more practice for qaunt and registered for experts global quant online and test series. The detailed analysis is what i like the most in their product. I was able to identify the key areas i was going wrong and practiced 700 plus level questions in those areas. By identifying the weaker areas and working on them, i was able to score 750(q 51) in the next attempt.
Their test series is also one of the best in the market. They give 15 test with analysis. The analysis helped me to understand where i was going wrong. If you want to improve in gmat, i cant stress this enough. Work on your mistakes. This is the only way to improve your score. And experts global has one of the best products in the market.
The course contains detailed video explanation for each & every topic related to Quantitative & Verbal section.
Different phases are outlined in the course.
In Phase 1 specific topics are explained in details & questions are provided in the quiz format.
The answer explanations are satisfactory to understand the best approach to the question.
In phases 2 & 3 several other quiz are provided to strengthen the understanding & application of the subject.
Lots of practice materials are provided in the course & it helped me to overcome the weak areas.
While you make progress in the course the practice results get updated accordingly which helps to identify whether the desired level of accuracy is reached or not.
With the course access to 15 mocks is complementary & hence the course comprehensive.
Another important part is it's pricing was at my comfort level.
Overall a very good experience & am looking for a good GMAT score ahead.
Experts Global is one of the most cost-sensitive courses you can enroll in.
It has three great components:
1. Excellent Video Course: The video course is really good and really lays down the foundations for GMAT. It can be done in 2 months. The videos are crisp and to the point.
2. Excellent set of practice questions: The quality of practice questions is really good - especially for quant. Only GMATCLUB might be better than this. Also, the video explanation is really good.
3. Great Set of GMAT Mocks - 15 of them! the Mocks resemble the GMAT official tests, and my scores usually mirrored Official GMAT scores. The tests are with their own video explanations as well
4. GMAT SHOTS: This is the most unique set of videos. They are small videos of 2-3 minute duration which focus on concepts - Helpful.
There are mini tests which take only an hour to complete. The solutions are well explained for all questions and it helps a lot to improve the scores .The concept videos are also very good for all the verbal sections .There are videos which will also help you to understand the mba application process by informing you of the requirements of an essay .You can also prepare for your interview using this course .The videos explain the dos and donts for an mba interview very well .This course is very well designed and is a must for all gmat aspirants .
The 5 week crash course provided by Experts Global for GMAT prep is one of the most comprehensive courses around and I highly recommend it for anyone who has less time on his hands or is giving a second attempt and wants to brush up on the skills. I had a 660 on my first attempt and wanted to take my score above 700 , that is when I came across this particular course . The best thing about the course are the concept videos which are very succinct and clear any questions one has around a concept ( for both quant and verbal ) . Also , the 15 practice tests provided are pretty thorough. Just going through the concept videos and taking all the tests, I was able to get a 730.
This test prep doesn't provide any support other than the software. You can't ask your doubts, its one of the major drawback of this course. I am currently using it and will let you all know about it soon.
