Consultant? No, Miracle Worker

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Starting the B-school application process had me quickly fraught with stress from having been told many stories: 'You don't have enough experience', 'you're too late in the cycle', 'you come from a non-business background and you will have to do business courses and certifications to even be considered', and the worst, 'You need to re-attempt GMAT'.
After speaking to many consultants, I was put in touch with Emma by a friend whom she had gotten into HEC Paris and from the first call itself, I knew that Emma was the answer to my B-school admissions worries.
Coming from a legal background and with only 3 years of experience in my pocket, I was full of self-doubt and haphazard thoughts on what schools wanted and what I had to offer. Worst of all, I was not clear on what my short term goals post MBA were . In all of this anxiety, Emma was an exceptional source of confidence, knowledge, guidance and encouragement. She was honest about my weaknesses but also showed me the way to improve. She took time and effort to help me really frame why I wanted to do an MBA, connected me with the right people and gave my whole profile the narrative that it had needed and deserved. But what really touched my heart was how she made me realize that I had been undervaluing and underplaying my strengths and achievements. She stood by me even when family and friends failed to and by the end of the process I came to see her as my 'Guru' and not just a consultant.
She is the warmest soul you will come across and coupled with the depth of her knowledge and industry insights, she is your answer to navigating this life altering and strenuous journey called 'I'm applying to B-Schools'.
It was solely through her counsel that I was able to convert all the four schools I applied to, including my dream school, INSEAD! (Being a round 4 extension Indian applicant!!)
Obviously, I’ve already warned Emma to keep her party fits ready, because since she summoned me to France like some MBA-school admissions fairy, she’s now contractually obligated to go partying with me. It’s in the terms & conditions, I checked. :-D

Emma Made My MBA Dream Come True – The Best Decision I Made!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

If you’re serious about getting into your dream MBA program, stop scrolling – Emma is the person who will get you there.

I came into the MBA process under serious pressure. My wife and I had already made major life decisions assuming I’d be admitted to a top European program, so I couldn’t afford to leave anything to chance. That’s when I found Emma – and from our very first call, I knew I was in the right hands.

Emma is a rare mix of strategist, coach, editor, and friend – sharp, honest, thoughtful, and endlessly supportive. She kept things moving at exactly the right pace while helping me build confidence and stay grounded. Before working with her, I was second-guessing every move. I had even applied unsuccessfully to a few schools on my own. But within just a few sessions, I had clarity, direction, and a compelling story.

Over time, Emma became as much a friend as a consultant – a testament to how deeply she connects with her clients. She spent hours getting to know me and unpacking parts of my background I had never fully explored. That depth made all the difference in crafting an application that highlighted what made me unique.

She’s also an exceptional writer. Beyond polishing your words into clean, natural prose, her real gift is listening – pulling out the right stories through conversation and weaving them into essays that are both personal and perfectly structured.

And she never sugarcoats. If something wasn’t working, she said so – and that honesty reassured me. I knew she held my work to the same high standards I had for myself.

Her support went well beyond essays. From networking strategies to all the subtle touches that elevate an application, she was there for everything – reviewing late-night drafts, jumping on calls at all hours, and answering every question promptly, no matter how busy she was.

With Emma’s help, I was admitted to all four schools I applied to: Oxford, Cambridge (with a scholarship), LBS, and INSEAD.

I can’t recommend her more highly. Her results speak for themselves – but let me make one thing clear: working with Emma will be one of the best decisions you make in your MBA journey.

Your search for the worlds best MBA consultant ends here!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

After an initial call with Matt, one of the founders of Fortuna, I was absolutely sold on working with their team. His sharp wit and sense of humor instantly put me at ease, and his insights gave me complete confidence in Fortuna’s approach. From there, working with Emma exceeded every expectation.

I can’t imagine going through the MBA application process without Emma by my side. She was more than a consultant—she was a coach, a sounding board, and a true partner in the journey. Thanks to her, I was admitted to a top 10 program, and I can confidently say I wouldn’t have gotten there without her.

What sets Emma apart is how deeply she invests in her clients. From our first conversation, she made it a point to truly understand me—not just my resume or goals, but the “why” behind them. That foundation helped us craft an application that felt not only compelling, but deeply personal and authentic.

Emma has a rare gift for balancing encouragement with direct, honest feedback. She pushed me to dig deeper when answers felt too surface-level and didn’t hesitate to ask the tough questions that made my essays stronger. And her attention to detail is unmatched—she wasn’t just focused on the big-picture story; she was right there in the trenches with me, reworking transitions, polishing phrasing, and making sure every word counted.

One of the moments that really stood out: Emma made time for me even while she was on holiday. That level of commitment is extraordinary. Even on weekends, she’d get back to me within a couple of hours, which made it possible to iterate quickly and keep momentum when deadlines were tight.

She’s fast, thoughtful, and endlessly supportive. Working with Emma made the entire experience not only manageable, but genuinely meaningful. If you’re lucky enough to work with her, take it—you’ll be in the best hands possible.

Outstanding; vital for my admission to Stanford GSB

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Emma was an absolutely fantastic coach. As an applicant for the Stanford MSx program with a less conventional background (Science PhD), I needed a coach who could make my story ressonate with the admissions committee in the best way possible and Emma's support was vital for my admission into the Stanford MSx programme.

We worked under tight deadlines, and Emma's guidance on which steps to prioritize were very helpful. Moreover, the instructions to my referees were excellent. Emma is a brillian communicator and her feedback on my essays really helped position my story for success.

I strongly recommend Emma as a coach. Her proactiveness, positive energy (she really helped raise my confidence levels), structured and organized approach, were vital for my sucesss. Her flexbility comes through not only in terms of the candidate background, but also in terms of geography, as she can help applicants to both European and American schools.

Comprehensive School Package with Fortuna

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

10/10 performance, I'm so glad I used Fortuna as my consultants. I connected with Fortuna at the start of my admission process and was nothing but impressed. I used Emma Bond, who was incredibly qualified in her understanding of schools in Europe, which was exactly the location I was targeting. Through her expertise, I was able to secure admission in all 3 top tier Europe MBA programs which I had applied to. Super impressed, and really really happy with the services provided by Fortuna as a whole. I would highly recommend that students look to Fortuna for consultancy services in the future. Consultancy is not cheap, but is worth it in the end.

BEST consultant to support you in getting into your dream school!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Working with Emma has been the most amazing experience! With her help, I was admitted to Wharton ($100K scholarship) and SOM (full tuition scholarship). I highly highly recommend her to anyone aiming for the top schools in the US.
Emma really takes the time to get to know you and give tailored advice specific to you, your schools, and your goals. She was there throughout the entire process - from the brainstorming and resume refinement to the interview prep and scholarship negotiations. She is extremely knowledgeable, organized, and efficient. Even in the peak weeks when application deadlines were approaching, her quick turnarounds didn’t waver. Emma strikes the perfect balance between telling you what you need to hear and being an inspirational and supportive coach.
As I’m sure most of us would be for our applications, I was insanely particular about making sure everything was perfect. With one of my schools, Emma gave me feedback on twelve drafts of my essay before I decided to scrap it and go with a different idea (with only two weeks to go till the deadline). She patiently consulted me on my new concept until I was 100% confident about it.
I was initially unsure whether I even needed to work with a consultant, but in hindsight I can confidently say the investment more than pays off. And without a doubt, I would recommend picking Emma to set yourself up for future success!

BEst coach/mentor/consultant!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Emma has been an incredible mentor and coach over the duration of my applications. We went through multiple iterations of the essays, and she was always incredibly involved. The edits could be as big picture as how the storyline could be enhanced and what parts of my experience could enrich the draft or as detail-oriented as missing commas. I started the process a little late, so it was incredibly helpful to have Emma be super prompt in her edits, sometimes reverting in just a couple hours.

Beyond the essays, Emma also helped me prepare for the interviews. Working with her throughout a couple applications gave her a sense of my personality beyond my CV, and she motivated me to bring that out in conversations. While her guidance helped me convert 2 M7 schools (with scholarships from both schools), she also analysed my experiences and preferences to continue guiding me, choosing the school and giving inputs on post-MBA career choices.

Throughout the process, she was incredibly encouraging, which really helped me keep going, and structured, which allowed me to get things done. I'd decided to work with Emma because a friend recommended I do so, and I couldn't have been happier with the outcomes. She wasn't a consultant but a true coach.

Look no further!

Emma turned a 2.8 GPA, 311 GRE, 32-year-old into a top 10 MBA admit. Need I say more?!

After 6 different fit calls with various advisors (see obstacles above), I could not have made a better decision on who to partner with through the application journey than Emma. She was everything you could want in an advisor: immediately responsive; exhaustively thorough; intrinsically thoughtful; and inherently compassionate (and not to mention an excellent editor, interview-prepper, and seemingly omniscient on MBA programs and their respective nuances).

I paid for a consultant to improve my chances of admissions but received a therapist, life coach, and MBA advisor all in one that helped me successfully navigate the dark and stormy sea that is the MBA application process.

I would typically recommend to everyone that they do extensive research to find the best possible advisor but save yourself the time - you already found her.

There is NO better Advisor. Emma Bond is 11/10

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I spent a significant amount of time researching and speaking to several MBA advisors before deciding to go with Emma. My interactions with most advisors were very transactional, and many told me I was unrealistic in applying to a Top 10 MBA programme, given my profile. Emma (and Fortuna) was the complete opposite. Emma managed to strike a perfect balance between being human, empathetic (and funny), highly professional, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Most prospective students, including myself, found the application process quite overwhelming and time-consuming, as well as a full-time job, but Emma was incredible at putting my mind at ease with the whole process.

The result was that I got into the Top 10 school/programme of my choice and received a significant scholarship, all as a Round 3 applicant; it is safe to say that she was monumental in getting me across the line. Emma was incredible to work with and I cannot recommend her more highly!!!
