Strengths:

e-GMAT is built for the moment ordinary practice stops working: when you are putting in the reps but cannot tell what is actually costing you points. That was my Quant. I wanted more from it than an 85, and doing more sectional mocks was not moving the number. What e-GMAT does that ordinary practice does not is diagnose the real problem instead of leaving you to guess. Its cementing quizzes break a section down to the individual sub-topic and show you exactly where you are losing points, so instead of re-drilling an entire section, you fix the two or three things actually costing you. For me that meant a topic like algebra, where my accuracy was sitting around 50 percent, was identified precisely and then rebuilt through repeated targeted quizzes until it reached 80 percent. Once the leaks were located and closed, my Quant moved from an 85 to an 88.

What makes that possible is the analytics, which is the real engine of the platform. Every mock and quiz is broken down into a clear picture of your weak points and a concrete refinement to your strategy, so your study time is always aimed at the thing that will move your score most. Before e-GMAT, I would look at a mock score and move on; the platform retrained me to treat the final score as almost irrelevant next to the reason behind each individual wrong answer. The cementing quizzes and this data work as a loop: the quizzes surface a specific weakness, the analytics confirm the pattern, you drill it, and a follow-up quiz proves it is fixed. That same loop worked on a stubborn reasoning weakness in Critical Reasoning exactly as it worked in Quant, which is what makes the approach so reliable, it is a repeatable method rather than a lucky streak.

The honest truth is that none of this is a magic shortcut; it asks you to slow down and actually study your own mistakes, which takes discipline. But the single greatest thing e-GMAT gave me was the personal attention of a mentor, which felt genuinely different from any online course I had tried. Rather than a generic plan, my mentor Dhruv went through my data with me, spotted that my Quant issue was one of diagnosis rather than approach, and shaped a targeted plan around each individual weak point, down to firm timing rules that took the hesitation out of every question. From 485 to 675 (95th Percentile) — e-GMAT Course Review
My first full-length mock, in December, came back a 485 — V73, Q84 and DI65, around the 21st percentile. On 30 July I scored a 675: V83, Q88 and DI80, which puts me in the 95th percentile. Section-wise: Verbal 73 to 83, Quant 84 to 88, Data Insights from the 8th percentile up to the 83rd. I fitted all of it around rotational shifts at a refinery, so time was my scarcest resource. Component by component:
e-GMAT PSP (Personalised Study Plan)
A) When my first attempt fell short at 635, a fresh plan was built off my official score report: 63 hours across three weeks, 47 of them earmarked for Critical Reasoning alone.
B) Its value was triage — with very little runway, it told me what could realistically be fixed and what could not.
The Course and its Module Grades
A) Quant is four modules: Number Properties, Algebra, Word Problems and Advanced Topics. I cleared all four plus their cementing quizzes within three weeks. Algebra hard accuracy climbed 45% to 80%; Word Problems finished at 80% from a 60% base.
B) The grading is what I under-used at the start. Each completed activity carries a grade, and my mentor had to point out that all my finished CR modules were graded C. I had been reading a C as an acceptable result rather than an instruction to redo the topic.
C) The DI course treats each of the five question types on its own. That is how I learned a Table Analysis set carries a single question here, not the three or four a comparable CAT passage carries — those sets had been eating six to seven minutes each.
Pre-thinking (CR and Two-Part Analysis)
A) I could always narrow a question to two choices, and the survivors would be nearly identical in wording and reasoning. Pre-thinking means forming your own answer first, then hunting for it among the choices, rather than weighing two options against one another.
B) CR hard accuracy moved from 35% to 70%, clearing the 65% that had been set for me as an ambitious target. The same habit carried straight into Two-Part Analysis.
Scholaranium and Neuron
A) The cementing quizzes and subsection-level analytics are where movement becomes visible. My hard Data Sufficiency scores ran 40%, then 70%, 60% and finally 90% over eight days. On Neuron I held above 60% on Hard and roughly 70% on Medium, which confirmed the concepts had landed.
B) One honest limitation: I exhausted the bank eventually, began recognising solutions, and once or twice switched a correct answer because I remembered getting it wrong before. I raised it and we shifted to sectionals.
SIGma-X Mocks and Sectionals
A) Twelve DI sectionals across nineteen days are what made that section hold up against a clock. They also revealed I was never getting as far as question 19 or 20, so I began giving up one Verbal Two-Part Analysis near the close of each section to get there.
B) The SIGma-X full-lengths are a little harder than the official mocks, that I'll admit — I scored consistently lower on them. My ranking would be SIGma-X hardest, then the real exam, with the official mocks last. Hitting your target on SIGma-X means you are in a good place.
e-GMAT Mentorship (Last Mile Push)
A) I would sincerely thank Jagadish for the guidance through the closing stretch. He got me maintaining the e-GMAT error log properly, which I had avoided for being too long, and nine days out he overruled my own diagnosis and stopped me drilling the wrong topic.
B) Thanks also to Dhruv, who read one of my logs and spotted that I had converted a two-minute let-go rule into a solving deadline, quietly damaging the front half of my sections.
C) In my opinion this is where the programme earned its money. My error log deserves more credit for the jump than the practice does.
Overall, I would highly recommend the e-GMAT course — particularly if you already have real fundamentals but have plateaued, you are fitting prep around shift work, and you have been reviewing your mistakes in a notebook rather than logging them properly.

Hi everyone, I just took the gmat and I scored a 690 (Q48V37). It may not be a terrific score, but its really good compared to my previous attempt, especially my verbal score.

First of all thank you E-Gmat! Your materials are the best bar none.

To begin with, I was confident about quantitative section of the GMAT because I thought that being an engineer, I had some quantitative advantage. I was not completely wrong but I realized that approaching questions in a timed manner needed a lot of practice and only a sound understanding of mathematics was not enough. Specially, the Data Sufficiency part of the quantitative section needed careful attention to details. My poor verbal score always demotivated me from taking the actual exam.

I am a non-native English speaker. So naturally, gmat’s verbal section turned out to be hard for me. I am sharing my experience to give an idea about how my hard work paid off.

I have been planning to take the gmat for 2.5 years now. Over the past years, I invested in multiple online gmat courses and also attended a classroom training. None of them helped me improve verbal my score beyond the 31-33 range. SC and CR always trapped me. So I kept postponing my gmat forever. Finally, with whatever preparation I thought I had, I finally took the actual gmat on Feb 6th, 2015. I wasn’t surprised by the score – 580 (Q48V22)

I had subscribed to E-gmat’s verbal online program a while ago, but I made a bad decision by not giving it due importance. I must admit it was the worst decision I took with regard to my gmat preparation. Looking back, I now realize I would never have ended up with a V22 had I used E-gmat during my preparations. I corrected this mistake for my second attempt. This time, I didn’t refer any other material other than E-gmat and the official guides. The course perfectly covers all areas of the gmat verbal, from absolute basics to the advanced concepts.

From the first day of using e-gmat itself, I was able to make out the difference in the way I analyzed questions. E-gmat’s pre-thinking in CR and their structured approach to SC really helped me improve in those areas. My accuracy in CR improved from 25-30% to 75% in less than 10 days. Pre-thinking really helped me have a better grip on the question even before I read the answer choices. Though it was time consuming in the beginning, with practice, I was able to answer CR questions accurately in much less time.

In SC too, E-gmat’s step by step method to identify errors in a sentence really helped me improve my accuracy. Following the procedure in the exact same way helped me identify and eliminate wrong answer choices quickly. I was almost able to answer every SC question in less than a minute. E-gmat workshops provide wonderful materials.

Once again I thank E-gmat for the wonderful program. I would recommend every gmat aspirant to take their trial and see for yourself how useful it can be, especially for those who find CR and SC hard and those who wish to take the gmat with less time to prepare. :)

In Mocks,always got more than 49 in Quant.Verbal is the challenge for me. I got 17 in verbal in the first mock GMAT.Though I used to invest lot of time on Verbal,there is not jump in the scores.

e-GMAT curriculum is very well designed and to the point. They've nicely divided into different question types which makes it easy to focus and grasp one point at a time. The frequent mid-topic questions help cement the always ephemeral verbal concepts. The OG questions which are sorted out topic wise help increase one's confidence.
I mainly used the course to try and fix my SC. However I was also able to improve upon my accuracy and speed for CR by learning easy to understand concepts. There are numerous practice questions in Scolaranium which further help to re-assess weak points and to focus on them.

This is anil. I have dreamt about getting into B school for a long time. Finally i have decided to take GMAT exam. So, to check myself where i stand in the race, i have given a mock, in which i terribly performed in verbal. And I know this before because I'm scared of English. To overcome my weak area i have done a lot of research in online. After reading a lot of reviews, I have decided to enroll eGMAT verbal online course. After enrolling, i was in dilemma whether this course is good or bad. Or can i go for more courses to get more input. But these guys are giving wonderful offer that within one week if we don't like the course, they will give full refund. Then i thought "wonderful! I will try this course for one week". After one week of this course, my fear for English went away and i slowly started loving English. They designed the course in such a way that anyone can easily understand each and every concept. The days passed and i even forget about one week thing . Now i cant even think of any other course. I had initially enrolled for the Verbal Online course with e-GMAT because like most test takers, the Verbal section of the GMAT really intimidated me. I had seen a lot of good reviews on GMAT Club about this course and so I first decided to try out a few free sessions. The sessions were really great and I knew I would stick with e-GMAT for my preparation. I must say that the content in e-GMAT is provided in a very lucid and easy- to -understand way. The pre- thinking strategies in critical reasoning can be used to breakdown complex questions in a methodical and systematic way. Also, I highly recommend the Verbal Online course for those test takers who get scared by SC. The material in EGMAT does not require you to rote learn hundreds of grammar rules - this is a very big brownie point!! I personally found the RC techniques very helpful for difficult passages - the techniques teach you how to stay focused and remain engaged. Having a complete understanding of the passage makes it much easier to eliminate incorrect answer choices and not fall in trap answers.

I have always been intimidated by the verbal section whenever I look at the practice questions in the GMAT test. A friend of mine referred me to the e-GMAT course for verbal online and quant online as well. I looked at some of their free sessions and figured that was exactly the kind of tutoring I was looking for in Verbal.

I find the course very comprehensive and elaborate. The little tips and the long explanations all add up to a wonderful learning package. After 3 months of practicing from the e-GMAT course, I am a lot more confident and equipped to take the GMAT test in November. The quant online course is another gem that I found amongst the many online courses available. Very detailed explanations helped me understand the nuances and tricks to master the test.
