Here is what you will get with e-GMAT:
I am a non-native speaker with an engineering background and the Verbal section of the GMAT was the critical area for me. After a couple of free practice tests, I realized that Sentence Correction was my Achilles’ heel. Before starting my preparations for the GMAT, I had sought help from few high scorers (730-780) regarding preparation material and tips. 4 of them had suggested me to try the e-GMAT SC course and so I registered for the trial course. It is worth mentioning that I had also registered for atleast 3 other SC courses by other companies. After having gone through all the SC courses, I found the e-GMAT SC course more suited to my preparation style and so I registered for the full course.
Based on my own experience of the e-GMAT SC course, I would like to share the following:
- It provided me a perfect start by revising my conceptual grammar.
- It allayed my anxiety of facing tough and similar-looking GMAT SC questions through its step-by-step analysis methodology in the course. Repetitive use of this method through visual content helped greatly in practicing the method and forming a habit. This particularly has been most useful for my preparation.
- The e-GMAT course has a comparatively large number of questions compared to other companies. This is essentially beneficial for a test-taker since practice and more practice is one of the key success strategies for a high GMAT score.
My speed and accuracy have both increased with thorough practice with the e-GMAT SC course and I feel confident to attack any kind of SC question now.
Hi,
I gave my gmat last Dec. But i got very less marks in verbal.so i cancelled the score. i am planning to give again in march or April. But i want to say one thing My mock tests score has increased uo to 37. I want to give this credit to egmat. But my actual score not up to the mark. So i can't say what went wrong.I was shocked. But i will try again and hope to get good marks in Gmat. After that i will let you know the actual effect of Egmat on my verbal score.
Thanks
As an engineer foreigner student I was used to excel at Quant. Althought I tnought the Verbal part would be easy I soon learnt that my premisse was wrong. So I had to painfuly learn how to take SC /CR / RC tests. Most of the guides that I used helped me reach a 600 ~ to almost a 660 GMAT (I usually scored a consistent Q48) but my verbal suffered a lot. I did all of the Official GMAT questions and some of the Verbal Suplement, but even those books could not bring my game up to 700+.
e-GMAT promissed to raise my Verbal Score, and had a great value for money.
I test the trial version and enjoyed very much the approach. Super detailed topics, a lot of drills and a point of view that all foreigners need to ensure better grades.
I really recommend it.
e-GMAT is an excellent source for Verbal. All the concepts tested on the GMAT exam are covered. The SC and CR are the best with explanations to simple as well as complex concept. Not only do they give comprehensive explanation but regular exercises and quizzez ensure that you brush up the concepts pretty well !! Both Rajat and Payal are extremely competitive teachers and their online workshops and webinars can help you boost scores pretty quickly. Have to say that their online support is the best in market as well.
This couse if done throughly will ensure that you atelast get 38 on Verbal. I will rcommend this course to everyone not just Non Native speakers since we cannot go wrong in the final exam. So All the Best everyone.
I had taken the verbal online course of E-gmat in July,2014 and given GMAT exam in Aug,2014 scoring 700 in it. I had joined a class room course in my locality but the moment I saw the trial videos I changed my mind. With less than one month for my GMAT exam, I subscribed to this course. I was able to analyse problems in a better manner and thereby my score in mocks started increasing. It added a lot to my confidence before going for exams. The videos were quiet student-friendly. The best part I loved about it was its explanation. Going with their 3 step analysis process is very helpful. Although, I only used their resources for a month still it made a lot of difference to my scores. Now I suggest each of my fellow mates preparing for GMAT to atleast go through their trail videos. After which you will automatically be inclined to subscribe to it. Thank you E-gmat. The course helped me a great deal
I enrolled egmat verbal online course after my disappointed results in diagonastics. This course helped me to build my concepts especially in SC which I haven't touched for long time.i recommend this course for all non native speaker as it helps to build the concepts.Apart from SC,RC and CR was also quite useful.Concepts of prethinking in CR was new to me and it teally helped me in cracking the question.overall i would suggest that this course is mandatory for all those who are looking for fundamental concept building.I must admit forum help by egmat mentors is also one of the factor which enhances the experience of learning.
I could not improve my Verbal Score beyond 32 using MGMAT . It was clear to me in October that I needed a change. I thought of taking a prep course but was not sure if it was worth it. I tried a small company that was highly recommended on this forum but that did not help either. Finally, I tried e-GMAT. I then looked into MGMAT and I could find that the same thing was covered in MGMAT as well but somehow I did not understand it the same way. I felt the same as I went through Verb tenses and parallel structures etc. I feel really confident and my preparations are going on nicely.Their coverage on evaluate (I did get a few questions) is probably the most comprehensive that I have found in any book
Few months ago, I took a mock test before starting my preparation to gauge where I stand. Ofcourse, as expected my verbal score was abysmally low. After thorough search on internet and reading reviews of students on GMAT club, I picked e-GMAT verbal course to improve my verbal ability for two reasons. Firstly, The line " for non-native speakers" grabbed my attention and secondly, ofcourse the fee is nominal.
After taking my pre-assessment test which went almost in similar lines with the mock test I took some time before, I started browsing through the course content. e-GMAT verbal online course is very well designed with audio visual interface. Each video is succinct with nothing over or under done. Each section is sorted as per difficulty and as per topic to make the concepts easy to understand and remember. I started gaining my confidence just by observing my performance change in pre-assessment and post assessment quizes before and after watching each video which is surprisingly not more than 20 minutes long. The best part of each module is definitely the summary slides, which are ready made flash cards for the module. When in doubt, we can watch the videos in our free time over and over again till we ingest the concept. The videos streaming has never been a problem even when i am using my mobile to watch the videos sitting at a place with moderate signal
The handouts which can be downloaded in pdf format filled the gaps which the videos dint cover and are fine addition to the video instructions. Few weeks into the course and I started spotting the errors quickly and started started solving the questions accurately within the time frame. I am in- fact planning to opt for their Verbal on-line course two months before my test date. I strongly recommend e-GMAT verbal online course for anyone who wants to strengthen their verbal ability.
Usually I don't opt for online courses but I thought of giving it a try as I was facing difficulties with the Verbal part of GMAT.
After doing some digging I finally came across the e-GMAT verbal online course.Personally, I feel e-GMAT to be the best course I have found till date.
This course has instilled my confidence in the grey areas.
The Live sessions are great, interactive and all the queries and doubts are clarified as if one is sitting in a real class-room.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this course to one and all especially, if you are struggling with your verbal. It is worth the time and the money.
The online course at e-gmat is a excellent self study tool meant for those who find it hard to attend instructor led live class-rooms due to their hectic schedule. The inclusion of multiple examples of varying difficulty and the post-mortem of various key concepts and its successive application is an attraction in the course. The manner in which the entire course is structured with various quizzes is impressive. The regular online recordings on strategies in Sentence correction , Critical reasoning and RC is well presented and very helpful. The integrated reasoning course is also well streamed and questions of various difficulty are also present.
