This is, in my opinion, the best verbal program. Done. No questions asked. I highly doubt that you would find a better SC course anywhere. The value for money is ridiculous, and the newest feature, scholarium, is amazing.
I am a South African who speaks English on a daily basis. I also watch a lot of American TV programs. GMAT English is not the same! If you are a non-native, this program is for you.
It helps identify why wrong answers are wrong, instead of just giving you the correct answer. The e-gmat 3 step process takes a while to master, but it is absolutely worth it if you stick to it!
I was all over the place, with or without the know-how and was not able to decode the Verbal section comprehensively.
EGmat did both the things in a very streamlined manner, which not only involved defining my approach to solving the questions but also building a strong base for my English, to refer from.
The most important part being the solved questions from OG that is available with the course. I can promise you that itself is a Bible to get prepared and get into the groove of solving the questions EGmat style.
I would like to thank the EGmat team once more and congratulate them as well. Please keep going strong, your are sincerely a great help.
E-GMAT verbal section is the best resource I have encountered in my whole journey of GMAT preparation. The sentence correction part of it gives clear explanation of all the commonly tested topics on the GMAT. I would recommend e-gmat course for all the students aspiring for the GMAT.
I started prepapring for the GMAT in August'14 and gave my first attempt in october, scoring a mere 600. I was doing good in Quants but Verbal was my weakness. I took up the verbal course from e-gmat. After going through the course I started to perform good in Verbal section too. I am doing consistently well in my practice tests and I confident to get a decent score in my upcoming attempt at the GMAT.
Happy Learning !!
Getting a great verbal score in GMAT is tough and that is why I had spent a lot of time researching the market for the best course. E-GMAT verbal online prep makes it extremely simple to understand the material. It explains the basic concept in such an effortless manner that their implementation becomes very easy. The tricks and techniques that it teaches to solve difficult critical reasoning or sentence correction questions are very helpful. Whilst I am still preparing for my exam I feel very confident with the way my understanding and performance has improved since I have taken this course. I highly recommend this course for anyone who is looking to get a competitive score in GMAT.
E-GMAT verbal course - Simply outstanding. It made verbal very easy for me. Sentence correction course is amazing. I think there cannot be a better SC course in the market. The tips in their CR course helped me a lot , specially when I had to eliminate answer choices. The RC course was also amazing. The tips do help very much during the exam when there is a lot of pressure on you.
I would recommend this course highly for non-natives.
The sentence correction course is godlike. After taking this course you will see your score improving in the verbal section in just 4 to 5 days.
Thank you e-gmat for the wonderful course.
I have already evaluated couple of in-person tutoring centers but I wasn't confident in improving my score in a significant manner. I was looking for ways to improve my verbal skills and after reading a lot of reviews I chose the verbal online course.
The course is balanced with each of SC, RC and CR. The video courses are concise and designed for beginners and helped me focus on the core. I am greatly impressed by the sentence correction strategies in the module. The logical approach to solve SC questions is excellent.
I am now able to solve some difficult SC questions comfortably by using the strategies in the tutorials. I also notice that the time to solve questions has reduced by a good margin. Practice exercises after every session is a plus. In addition, the explanations for the wrong answers in the course has been of great value.
I also find the pre-thinking strategy for Critical Reasoning a very useful and result oriented technique. I would highly recommend this package to other GMAT aspirants.
Thanks E-GMAT team.
I did my GRE in the year 2009. Score 1320 on a scale of 1600. I started preparing for GMAT from 2014. I was very over confident that I can crack GMAT in a span f 1 month. I prepared myself. To my surprise, my score improved ony 60 points.
I googled in GMATclub forum and came acrsss e-gmat. People are tellling many good reviews about e-gmat. I did not believe these reviews first of all but kept n attending sessions taken care by Payal or Rajat. Just wanted to give a try at free trial. It was truly awesome. I learnt many new things and then came to aware of where I stand exactly in GMAT verbal.
First purchased only SC. My score in my SC before signing up for e-gmat was 5 out of 15 used to be correct. But nw 12 out of 15 will be correct at least. Though my SC improved, my overall verbal score is not improved. My score was not crossing 700. Then took up Verbal online prep. IR, CR, RC was truly awesome.
Currently I am yet to appear for GMAT. But my confidence to take up questions dramatically increased. I really love the way tutors teach. Shraddha, PAyal etc.
I am very happy to see that this organization exists to help people like us.
Thank you e-gmat. Thanks once again
I took GMAT twice, the performance in Quant was exemplary but the performance in Verbal, both times was just below my expectations. As I am posted at a remote loc so I dont have access to any of the courses offered by many preparation centers in metro cities. Then I learnt about online gmat courses through GMAT club. I tried all free sample lessons of all online courses and homed down to eGMAT. My decision was correct to choose eGMAT as I realised it covers all topics, every issue in such detail and using such simple techniques to choose the correct answer. I am really impressed with the tricks and techniques the eGMAT teaches to home down to the correct answer.
At early I purchased only sentence correction course from e-GMAT to ensure if it comes with its promises or not.And just after 15 to 20 days I purchased the whole verbal on-line course after seeing that sentence correction was very helpful and that I got to know when I was giving my mock test. How to break the structure of the sentence was very helpful and that was the first thing I learnt in e-GMAT. Initially it felt like a cumbersome method or you can say a lengthy method but after practising some questions it became like a second nature to me while solving the question.I don't much problem in CR but after going through the course CR became more easier. One most go through e-gmat course to understand the over all concept in Verbal very well.I had purchased other verbal course previously but I think it was nothing but disaster. One more thing I would like to mention that the e-GMAT is very prompt in replying to your concern.
I am an Indian with 3 years of work experience who decided to give my GMAT in August 2014. however as soon as i attempted English mocks i realized i needed help. I am a Physics graduate so apart from core accounting my maths was pretty okay but English needed major improvement. I am a banker by profession which means I spend more than 14 hours in office. weekends are also sometimes devoted to finishing off official work. thus without any scope to join a live class i decided to check out online courses. I joined the GMAT clubs official GMAT prep course. now this is the best what money can buy in terms of variety and depths of questions but I needed someone to teach me English fundamentals as well. that's when I heard of e-gmat. the course is well balanced with each of SC, RC and CR broken down into small snippets. i completed the video classes soon and started giving timed tests. from my 1st test in which my efficiency was 38% to my latest one in which my efficiency was 80% i saw my huge improvement. the eGMAT Scholaranium- is also a huge benefit as the analytic's guides you in all areas which need improvement.
For all the non natives who are struggling with English I would suggest keeping things simple. there is a lot of free material available out there but most of it is incapable to help the candidate in any meaningful way. i decided to stick to only gmat club official prep tests/mocks and e-gmat, both because they have de cluttered the path to scoring well on GMAT especially the verbal section .
