GMAC Official Mocks

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

The biggest strength of GMAC Official Mocks 3 and 4 is that they are the closest possible representation of the real GMAT. The question style, wording, difficulty progression, and adaptive behavior match the actual exam far better than any third-party test. The scoring is also highly reliable, making these mocks extremely useful for predicting real exam performance. The interface, timing pressure, and sectional flow feel identical to test day, which helps reduce surprises. These mocks are especially valuable for final-stage preparation because they reveal real weaknesses in pacing, stamina, and decision-making under pressure.

Would make the product better:

more advanced analytics such as topic-wise breakdowns, time management diagnostics, and error pattern tracking would make these mocks even more powerful

GMAC Official Mocks 3 and 4 are by far the most important practice tests for anyone serious about the GMAT. They accurately reflect the real exam in terms of difficulty, adaptive behavior, and scoring, which makes them extremely reliable for estimating your true performance. When I took these mocks, my scores were very close to my actual GMAT results, which shows how predictive they are. However, the weak point is the explanation quality, which is not sufficient for learning in depth. Despite that, these mocks are essential because no other test captures the real GMAT experience this well. They should be used strategically near the end of preparation.

Prep Exams 3 and 4

Strengths:

Quite close to the actual exam, however the Quant is generally easier than the official exam as per my encounter.

Would make the product better:

Make it maybe more tougher and mimic closer to the actual exam.

4/5
GMAT Mock 3 & 4 Review

Both mocks are solid benchmarks and give a good measure of the real GMAT, especially for Verbal (RC/CR/SC mix, timing pressure, and question logic).

The overall exam feel, fatigue, and pacing are close to the real thing, making them useful for test-day simulation.

Quant in Mock 3 & 4 is noticeably easier compared to the actual GMAT Focus Edition.

I scored significantly higher in QA than my real exam score, which created a gap in difficulty perception.

The mocks include more straightforward problem-solving and fewer trap-style or multi-step reasoning questions than the real test.

Real GMAT quant felt more layered, tighter on logic, and trickier under time pressure, especially in Data Insights + Algebra-heavy questions.

Good for:

Building stamina

Practicing time management

Verbal accuracy calibration

Be cautious for:

Overestimating Quant performance based on these scores

Everything What you Need

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

Strengths:

The GMAT Official Practice Exams 3 and 4 stand out as the most reliable indicators of real GMAT performance. They are designed by the same team that creates the actual exam, which makes the question quality and scoring exceptionally accurate. Every section—from Quant to Verbal—closely mirrors the structure, logic, and time pressure of the real test. The questions are diverse in both topic and difficulty, ensuring a balanced evaluation of your readiness.

One of the biggest strengths of these mocks is their ability to simulate real test conditions. The interface, timer, and question navigation are identical to what you’ll experience on test day. This helps test-takers become familiar with the format, reducing anxiety and surprises during the actual exam.

The scoring algorithm also deserves special mention. Many students find their official mock scores to be within a very close range of their final GMAT score, which reinforces the credibility of the product. Overall, these exams not only measure your current ability but also provide a realistic sense of pacing, endurance, and decision-making under pressure—skills that are just as crucial as knowledge itself. For anyone looking for an authentic and dependable practice experience, these mocks are among the best resources available.

Would make the product better:

While the product is strong, one significant limitation lies in its lack of flexibility for retakes. Once you’ve completed the two official mocks, there’s no option to redo them. For many students, revisiting questions is a key part of their learning process. We don’t just memorize answers—we focus on understanding the reasoning, identifying mistakes, and improving our problem-solving approach.

A possible improvement would be to introduce a structured question pool where students can attempt the mocks twice with fresh questions, and after that, the same set of questions could reappear. This approach would allow for reinforcement learning without compromising test integrity. It would also help students build confidence, especially after identifying and working on their weak areas.

Additionally, providing a detailed analytics dashboard or comparison insights between attempts could make the experience more meaningful. Students could track progress over time and develop a deeper understanding of their performance patterns. A feature like this would turn the mocks from being just an evaluation tool into a continuous learning resource. Overall, adding flexibility and feedback depth would make the product even more impactful.

Overall, GMAT Official Practice Exams 3 and 4 are among the most valuable tools for serious GMAT aspirants. They offer an authentic and comprehensive simulation of the real exam, both in terms of content and experience. The quality of questions, accuracy of scoring, and the realistic interface make these mocks indispensable for anyone aiming to perform confidently on test day.

However, the inability to retake the tests limits their long-term use, especially for students who rely on iterative learning. Introducing a retake option or a question pool system would make the product more practical for extended preparation. Many learners improve not by seeing new questions every time, but by revisiting old ones to analyze their thought process and correct past errors.

Despite this shortcoming, the overall value remains high. These exams help test-takers understand their true performance level and build test-day readiness like no other resource can. In short, GMAT Official Mocks 3 and 4 are a must-have for anyone seeking accuracy, realism, and confidence in their GMAT journey—though with a few thoughtful updates, they could be nearly perfect.

The Gmat focus official tests

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

Closest scores to the actual exam

Would make the product better:

Retaking should be marked and not included in calculations

It is the best bet before taking the GMAT. I took the exam on september 1 and my test result was the closest on it. The UI gives the same feel as the exam. I would recommend people to take these mocks before taking the tests.
The GMAT portal also has specific analysis on the mocks based on pressure and how you perform and the questions are previous years gmat questions itself so it is the closest to the actual exam.

I purchased tests 3&4 along with scheduling the exam, but I would also recommend to schedule once you have your required score on the mock.

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

Strengths:

The GMAT Prep Exams 3 and 4 by GMAC are extremely realistic and closely mimic the actual GMAT exam experience. The quality of questions, the adaptive algorithm, and the timing simulation help build confidence and familiarity. The explanations provided are clear and detailed, which makes it easier to understand mistakes and learn from them.

Would make the product better:

It would be helpful to include more detailed analytics about performance trends across sections and question types. Additionally, offering a few more practice exams or question sets as part of the package would add value for those who want extra practice without purchasing separate question banks.

I found the GMAT Prep Exams 3 and 4 by GMAC to be an excellent resource for anyone serious about preparing for the GMAT. The exams are designed to mirror the real test very accurately, both in terms of question difficulty and adaptive scoring. Taking these tests helped me gauge my readiness and identify the areas where I needed to improve. The explanations provided after each question were thorough and clear, which made it easier to refine my strategies. One of the best aspects is the realistic exam environment, which helps reduce anxiety on test day. I would recommend these practice exams to all GMAT aspirants looking for authentic practice material. Adding more detailed performance analytics and perhaps including additional tests would make this product even better. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

GMAC official practice exam 3 & 4 are really precise and actual GMAT like. The questions are well framed and very much what you can expect in GMAT test.

It helps in practicing the real GMAT test environment go through each step take your time and give the tests as if it was a real
exam. These practice exams are the best that’s there so only attempt it when you are completely prepared

I scored exactly same on GMAT as I scored in 3rd practice test.
The questions in quant , verbal and DI are all balanced and you need to select the order of section just like you would have in a real GMAT test

Highly recommend

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Would highly recommend the GMAC OG mocks. The best source to really help gauge your level. Ensure that you plan the timings and write the mocks to ensure you can reap the maximum output. I took mine two days before my official exam date at the same time to ensure I was getting my mind tuned to sitting around that time of the day. Follow the approach that works the best for you. If you want to take it couple of days before the scheduled date, that should also be okay, (read quite a lot of reviews in favour of this). So it’s a good option to consider purchasing.

Must for a serious candidate

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

They are the most realistic score predictor for the GMAT. take the exam in real test like conditions and don't pause. Use these 4 tests wisely as they are costly and even if you reset them, you will see no repeats.
Also network you work on should be good because these test get stuck too often otherwise
Give one official mock before starting the prep to gauge the starting point or level and look for areas that need improvement. After that, give the official mocks at later stages for great practice and fine tune test strategy. Go for it without any thought. worth it !!

The OG tests, these tests accurately replicate the actual exam, covering all key areas and providing challenging, realistic questions. The detailed score reports offered invaluable insights into my strengths and weaknesses, helping me focus my study efforts effectively. Additionally, they provide a useful scale to gauge your level of preparation. However, I noticed some discrepancies between my practice test scores and my final GMAT score, which made me question their accuracy in reflecting my actual readiness. Despite this, the user-friendly interface and authentic test environment make MBA.com tests a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about achieving a high GMAT score.
