Hello everyone,
I am starting this page to discuss which all 1 year MBA programs are suitable for students with high work experience and nontraditional backgrounds.
Most 1 year MBA programs have a cohort with ages ranging from 24 to 30. In such a scenario, options for a 40+ student like me from a nontraditional background are very limited. As per my research, the following are suitable-:
1. Stanford MSx
2. MIT Sloan Fellows
3. LBS Sloan Masters
4. USC Marshall (IBEAR)
5. ISB PGP
All other adcoms I communicated with either suggest me to go for EMBA (INSEAD, HEC) or ask for a tech background (Cornell Tech MBA) or some Business background (1 year MBA programs of Duke Fuqua, Kellogg)
Has anyone come across any other program suitable for students like me..?
I wish to get into Management Consulting after an MBA before getting into a leadership role, of which I have plenty of experience.
Any suggestions are welcome please..
Adding a few more to your list -
6) Foster GEMBA
7) Nanyang Fellows MBA
Also, ISB PGP may not be suitable for someone with a high YOE under the belt.
ISB PGPMax is; it's a part-time program though.
