I got fee wavers from UNC, Ross and Goizueta as well
Abhi2788541
Hi
I attended the sessions for:
1. Fuqua (Duke)
2. Goizueta (Emory)
3. Johnson (Cornell)
4. Kelley
5. Kenan-Flagler (UNC)
6. Ross
7. Tepper (CMU) on June 11 2025

But I got the fee waivers for Fuqua, Johnson and Tepper.
Can someone please confirm if the remaining colleges have released their wavers or not. In case yes, can I connect with someone to have a look into it?
Thanks

Thank you for the question

A number of the programs you listed did not provide waivers, usually do not provide waivers and we’re not expected to provide them.

I recommend searching your mailbox thoroughly. We’ve gone through every attendee who has attended the event using the zoom records and sent to them the waivers for sessions they have attended. This was Emmanuel process that took a while to assemble between all the sessions but everyone who logged in to a live session should have received a confirmation for their waiver.

So far reasons for people not receiving waivers have been:

1. Not actually attending the session
2. Not checking their mailbox

I am yet to run into a situation where someone has attended but did not receive a waiver or were not logged by Zoom.

I also attended almost all fee waiver sessions but only received waiver confirmations from Duke Fuqua and UCI riverside. Checked mail thoroughly but the rest are not there.

I was hoping to ask about the Duke Fuqua fee waiver? Are they still delayed in being sent as you mentioned earlier in this forum?

I’ve been attending Spotlight Fair sessions for two years now — actively participating, asking thoughtful questions, and genuinely engaging. Still, I’ve never received a fee waiver. :)

I see you have only attended the Ross session and I see that we have sent you an email for Ross waiver confirmation 2 weeks ago.
You will need to check your email that you signed up for the spotlight which is not the same email that you use for GMAT Club.

Just in case, I am going to post copies of the emails that went out in case people are not able to locate them. I would highly encourage you to check your junk and trash (google will not search there by default so you have to visit those folders and search in them, which is a pain in the butt but such is life).

Is it just me, or has no one gotten the Emory fee waiver yet? GMATClub mentioned they’d send it directly and it could take a month, but I still haven’t received anything. I got the last mail on 13th June 2025.

Hello bb , after attending the spotlight, I received a $75 waiver from Duke. In the email, it was mentioned that we will be informed soon with specific instructions on how to apply your discount or waiver. However, I haven't received any email yet!

Please could you guide me with this

Hi. We just heard back from Fuqua about the discount instructions. Here you go. Not sure if they will be sending them out but I noticed they are also published on their site:
https://www.fuqua.duke.edu/programs/day ... structions

Instructions to apply for an application fee discount or waiver
Meet at least one of the above criteria.
  • Select an application round in the “Personal Information” section of the online application.
  • Complete the questions included in the "Application Fee Information" section.
  • Submit your application after all sections are complete.

    • If your discount is verified, you will receive a $75 USD discount on your application fee. If you submitted a fee discount and you are prompted to pay the full application fee, then your discount was not validated.
    • If your waiver is verified, you will not be prompted for credit card payment to submit your application. If you submitted a fee waiver and you are prompted for credit card payment, then your waiver was not validated.
  • Following the above instructions is the only way to receive an application fee discount or waiver. If you submit your online application without selecting the "fee waiver" or "fee discount" option, then you will not qualify for the waiver, and no refund will be available.
  • You may contact us if you feel that you are prompted for payment in error. Do not submit your application until reaching out to our team for help. We cannot issue a refund for your application fee.
