Out of 1000 loaves, 400 are sourdough and rye loaves must be 400-150= 250

Therefore, whole wheat loaves = 1000-400-250 = 350

Therefore, whole wheat loaves =350 and Rye loaves = 250

Given: SD = 0.4 T (Total) = R+150; R = 0.4T-150;
WW+SD+R = T = 1000;
WW+0.4*1000+0.4*1000-150 = 1000; WW = 350; R = 250

1000 Loaves sold between whole wheat, sourdough, and rye.

40% of total sales is for sourdough = 400

Rye is 150 lesser than sourdough = 150

Whole wheat = Total - Sourdough - Rye
Using above 2 condition -> 1000 - 400 - 150 = 350

Given:
- Total loaves sold = 1000
- Sourdough sales = 40% of total sales
- Sourdough sales exceed rye sales by 150 loaves

Calculations:
- Sourdough loaves: \(40\% \times 1000 = 400\) loaves
- Rye loaves: \(400 - 150 = 250\) loaves
- Whole wheat loaves: \(1000 - (400 + 250) = 350\) loaves

Conclusion:
- The bakery sold 350 whole wheat loaves and 250 rye loaves in that month.

An artisan bakery sells three types of bread: whole wheat, sourdough, and rye. In a certain month, sourdough sales account for 40% of the total loaves sold and exceed rye sales by 150 loaves.

If the bakery sold 1,000 loaves in that month, select for Whole wheat loaves the number of whole wheat loaves sold, and select for Rye loaves the number of rye loaves sold in that month. Make only two selections, one in each column.

Since total is 1000, Let whole white be w, sourdough be (40%) 400, rye is (450-150) 250. So w 1000-400-250= 350 while rye is 250 hence ED

Total loaves sold=1,000

Sourdough sales= 40/100*1000= 400 units of sourdough
1,000-400=600(remaining units of both Whole Wheat and Rye bread sold)

Rye sales= 400-150
=250

Whole Wheat sales= 600-250
=350
