let the total total employees be x, then total working in sales will be 0.4x .
if half of ppl from sales quit then that will amount to 0.2x
so new total number of employees will be x-0.2x=0.8x
and new total number of employees in sales will be 0.4x-0.2x=0.2x
thus percentage of employees work in sales will be (0.2/0.8) multiply by 100 that will give 25%
