Assume there are 100 employees , according to the question 40 percent that is 40 out of 100 work in sales , and half of those 40 left that means 20 sales people remaining now what this does is total no of employees get decreased from 100 to 80 , now the percentage of company that works in sales is 20/80 *100= 25 percent
