Hi there,
I was looking forward to a
profile review from
Applicant Lab.
I took the GMAT on Dec 15 ,scored a 680 , Q46, V37.
This was after 3 months of prep. Its according to my expectations but I fell short of time for my verbal prep.
A brief Intro :
A 35 year old male from India who has been a part of few startups in the renewable energy sector and also in the mechanical
field of Fittings , flanges, Pipe fittings ,contract work. However I wish to shift careers at this point since I feel that the future prospects in Mechanical and renewable energy sectors is not what I see myself doing in the next decade.
Target areas to work post the MBA:
1. Artificial Intelligence - Sales/ Marketing Management.
2. Deep Learning - Same as above
3. Virtual Reality.
4. Volkswagen/ merc/ BMW.- General management/ Marketing.
5. Tech related( marketing management)
........
You could also suggest a few areas after looking at my CV.
Target countries would countries where I could work for atleast 5 years post MBA.
I am thinking on the lines of Germany/Canada ,etc ( open to suggestions)
Also Since I am already 35 years old ,looking for only 1 year MBA's
IMD, WHU, Mannheim, Frankfurt business school , Rottman, Laurier, etc - What do you think my chances are getting into them ?
The aim of the MBA is to secure a job in the destination country . Kindly suggest courses where the career services are top notch.
Courses where we can secure maximum funding will be preferred.
Also , DO these Colleges have full time executive courses?
P.S: CV, GMAT score and IELTS score attached .

That said, Canada has a friendly work permit post Master's, allowing you a grace period (my term) of 3 years after MBA to practice in the industry in Canada, of course you know that
Instead of a one year MBA, if you go for a two year MBA, which will give you 5 years in the country, allowing you to apply for PR.
Yes one year MBA makes sense for your profile, but your goal is to settle in the destined country, so there's an opinion. Switzerland and Germany are also friendly places for Indians .
Check out the class profiles of the current students and match your profile with theirs
If you fit, apply.
As the Admissions committee takes into account more than your GMAT, work ex into account, you can produce a good picture.
