Anupam2024
Hi everyone...
I just scored 615 on GMAT focus V70/Q76/DI79
I have experience of 8 years in a DFI (6 years Direct Credit to SME and 2 years Venture capital) (i know its a bit late for MBA) and CGPA of 4.0(Engineering)(as per GMAT marking).
I am looking for admissions in colleges like LBS, Kellogg, Cambridge, Oxford and others in the same ranking for Sep 25 intake, for MBA, 1 year preferably.
I am also planning to take one more attempt in late November 24.
Can someone please suggest, are my marks enough to get into my target colleges or should I wait for my November 24 attempt. Also if someone can suggest some good consultants operating in Delhi/Mumbai.
Thanks.
Hi
Anupam2024While a GMAT score of 615 is a respectable score, given your target schools like LBS, Kellogg, Cambridge, and Oxford, it's advisable to aim for a higher score. These top-tier programs typically have higher average GMAT scores and seek candidates with exceptional academic and professional profiles. Your 8 years of experience in a DFI is a strong asset, especially in the current economic climate. However, your age and the late application cycle for a September 2025 intake might pose some challenges.
To significantly improve your chances of admission, consider retaking the GMAT to achieve a score in the 700s. Additionally, work on crafting compelling essays and securing strong letters of recommendation.
To maximize your chances of success, consider working with a top-tier MBA consultant like The Red Pen. They have a proven track record of helping clients gain admission to top-tier programs. They can provide personalized guidance on your application strategy, essay writing, and interview preparation.
