crate, scholarship decisions are taken basis your overall profile's strength vis-a-vis a school's average candidate. It is never based on a singular factor such as the GMAT score. For reasons mentioned here, you should also not decide school selection either and delve a lot deeper into this aspect.

Purely from a GMAT perspective, a general thumb rule is Indian average can be a good 20-30 points above a given school's average.

Hope this guides your thoughts further.

Hi All,

Thank you for your honest inputs. I understand your feedback and will make a decision about whether I should pursue lower-ranking schools or try next year.

Considering GMAT alone, minimum safe score for Indian with scholarship in given schools is 760.

Strengthen your profile and overall application contents. If you are patient and determined, you can target gmat score of 760 or above

Hey! How did it go? Did you get a scholarship?

crate
Hi All,

I recently gave my GMAT and got my result yesterday. I got the exact 700( Q48, V38, IR 5).
Considering, I am an Indian female candidate, are there any chances that I can get a scholarship with this score? My target schools are-: MIT, Scheller, Foster, NUS, Tepper.
I need a substantial amount of scholarship for my MBA, So want to be aware and chose my schools accordingly. I aim to go into tech industry after my MBA as my background is also from the same industry.
