9 wrong in Verbal in GMAT practice test 3 and score of V35?

Does this make sense, in other tests I give 12-13 wrong still gave a score of V41+

It's an adaptive test, so it's not very easy to associate final scores with accuracy. This becomes even more complicated if we are looking at tests across providers.

12-13 wrong for V41 doesnt sound right at all, even for all 700+ level questions

This looks unlikely but it's possible. Consider this(GMAT prep tests): 1) 18 wrong with 4 500 level, 21 600 level and 11 700 level - V29 2) 23 wrong with 11 500 level, 20 600 level and 5 700 level - V30 A V41+ looks difficult to get from first case, however, it looks possible if your look at second case. So, without delving much it's important to note that the adaptiveness is unpredictable. Even though from second case's point V41+ looks possible, it's not known how. Still want to bang your head, consider this.

Are both practice tests from Official GMAT Practice Tests? I wouldn't take the scores from practice tests by course providers as serious benchmark.
