One can approximate comfortably here:

340 liter solution has 7% sugar.
3.2 + 10 + 6.8= 20 liter solution has 3.2 later sugar. This is 3.2/20 *100 = 16%.

Note that the two solutions are mixed in the ratio 340:20 = 17:1. So the final concentration of sugar will be much much closer to 7.

Denominator:
340+10+3.2+6.8=360

Numerator:
340(1-.88-.05)+3.2
340(0.07)+3.2
23.8+3.2
27

Ratio:
27/360=3/40

Answer: B

Percent of sugar in the solution is = \(\frac{27}{356.8} * 100\) => 7.57%

Hence answer will be (B)

let x=% of sugar in solution
.07*340+3.2=360x
x=.075=7.5%

Though your answer is correct.

2nd column addition is wrong. 10 + 6.8 + 3.2 = 20 :)
27/360 * 100 = 7.5%
