for 10 miles (city) car uses 10/25=0.4 gallon
for 50 miles (highway) it uses 50/40= 1.25 gallon
total used gas= 1.65
total distance traveled= 10+50=60
60/1.65=36

D is the right answer ......

I thought this one was a weighted average problem !!
