Total Box = 1600 @\$10
(3/4)th Boxes = 1200 @\$15
(1/4)th Boxes = 400 @\$7.5

Total Profit = 1200*(15-10) + 400 (7.5-10) = 6000 - 1000 = \$5000

Total cost = 1600 x 10 =\$16,000

=>3/4 x 1600 = 1200
=>Selling price = 1.5 x 10 = \$15
=>\$15 x 1200 = \$18000

Remaining 400 boxes were sold at 25% loss = \$7.5/box
=>400 x 7.5 = \$3000

Gross profit
= 18000+3000-16000
= 21000-16000
= 5000
