(A) $5000

(C) $6000
(D) $6500
(E) $7500

Total Box = 1600 @$10
(3/4)th Boxes = 1200 @$15
(1/4)th Boxes = 400 @$7.5

Total Profit = 1200*(15-10) + 400 (7.5-10) = 6000 - 1000 = $5000

Answer: Option A

Total cost = 1600 x 10 =$16,000

=>3/4 x 1600 = 1200
=>Selling price = 1.5 x 10 = $15
=>$15 x 1200 = $18000

Remaining 400 boxes were sold at 25% loss = $7.5/box
=>400 x 7.5 = $3000

Gross profit
= 18000+3000-16000
= 21000-16000
= 5000

Answer is A
