Premise: The present supply of crude oil is sufficient.
Premise 2: Energy demand will increase
Conclusion: We must invest in sustainable sources of energy such as wind power.
The assumption should connect the premises with the conclusion.

Using the negation technique: "The supply of crude oil will increase sufficiently to meet the increasing energy demand". If this was the case there wouldn't be any need to invest in other sources of energy. Because this negation breaks the conclusion we can be sure that its the correct answer.
