Is it D? All other options seem pretty much the opposite

My reasoning :-

for option D ,there are be chances that any US airline might have improved by more than 1%, but if many other have not improved in their time they will pull down the avg.

Question Type: Complete the passage

Argument: Average on time arrival of all U.S. airlines for the 3 months last year - 80%
Average on time arrival of all U.S. airlines for the 3 months this year - 70%
Average on time arrival of United Airlines last year - 75%
Average on time arrival of United Airlines this year - 80%

A. For the three months under consideration, the average on-time arrival rate of the all the other US airlines last year was better than the on-time arrival rate of United Airlines this year. - Correct. Removing the on time arrival rate of United Airlines will increase the average on time arrival rate of all the other airlines.

B. For the three months under consideration, removing the stats of United Airlines would reduce the decline in the on-time arrival rate of the US airlines - If we remove the stats of United Airlines for the 3 months this year, it will lead to further reduction in the average on time arrival of all other US airlines.

C. For the three months under consideration this year, the on-time arrival rate of United is the highest among that of all airlines. - We cannot infer this.

D. For the three months under consideration, no US airline improved its on-time arrival rate even by one percentage point compared to last year. - Cannot be inferred.

E. For the three months under consideration, United Airlines gained at least some market share compared to last year. - On time arrival rate cannot be correlated to an increase in market share.

Answer: A

I got the answer as A
The other options have problems in them

A. For the three months under consideration, the average on-time arrival rate of the all the other US airlines last year was better than the on-time arrival rate of United Airlines this year. The average arrival rate for the other airlines will be higher since even with united airlines lower arrival rate of 75%, the overall average was 80%. So this option adds to the statement
B. For the three months under consideration, removing the stats of United Airlines would reduce the decline in the on-time arrival rate of the US airlines. United airlines has actually improved its arrival rate this year so removing its stats will result in a further decline
C. For the three months under consideration this year, the on-time arrival rate of United is the highest among that of all airlines. We cannot know for sure if this is right. There can be another airline with higher arrival rate but there can also an airline with a poorer arrival rate leading to the average dropping to 70%
D. For the three months under consideration, no US airline improved its on-time arrival rate even by one percentage point compared to last year. United airlines did improve so this statement is also not correct
E. For the three months under consideration, United Airlines gained at least some market share compared to last year. This statement is irrelevant to the topic so can be discarded
