Hi there, would need a bit more information to make an assessment. Not included on the list - but I feel having a budget and a willingness to work with a consultant has a major impact on your ability to get admitted to reach schools. As much as you can provide of the following:

- Age
- Gender/ethnicity/citizenship
- How many years of work experience?
- Role, industry, general description of companies
- Quality stories/examples you can discuss that point to leadership, teamwork and analytical skills
- GMAT breakdown quant/verbal. Do you feel there is room for improvement? Any willingness to retake?
- Grades in finance/stats/business calculus
- Post-MBA goal & long-term goal. How related is it to your background?
- More information about extracurriculars
- Community service?
- International exposure or work experience?
- Anything particularly unique about your background or personal history?

Thanks,
Farrell

I am new to the MBA admissions game and am just trying to get an idea of what to expect. I attended a small private college in Michigan and graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting. My GPA was 3.7. My problem is, I don't have many extra cirriculars and my work experience is not the most impressive. I have recently taken the GMAT and received a 670 and also have passed the CPA exam.

What schools should I be looking at? Can I get admitted to Kelley? What about Marshall? I am just trying to get a feel for which schools I should be targeting.

Thanks

Thanks for your post. What do you want to do after business school? I would love to recommend programs that would prepare you for your longer term goals. Indiana could work but I would want to know more about your background. USC would be tough as mentioned above, but depending on your experience that could work out as well.

Send me a note to discuss further. [email protected]

Best,
Scott

Kelly and USC could work - but we definitely need more details to give you better feedback. Improving your GMAT will most certainly compensate for a few weaknesses.

Best,
Karthik
