So desperate about any update on my portal , I wrote to Heidi asking her about the delay . She wrote back saying that they have just started with the applications after the holidays and the calls will start rolling out soon . !

You should be receiving an email with a Fedex courier tracking detail, which would be your admit package, sent by Cornell

I received the congratulatory package from the Office of Admissions postmarked 1/12 (delivered 1/14)! I got a scarf, sunglasses and a postcard with a short note from Judi. Pretty neat. I do agree it's weird I didn't receive an actual copy of the acceptance letter.

Edit: Also strange I never got the Fedex email for tracking details.

So what's the housing situation looking like for everyone in the One-year program? Are most people looking for 1-bedroom apartments? Do people try to find roommates with leases starting in May?

Getting the finances and visa related documents in order first.. Would be looking for a twin sharing apartment near the campus, if not on campus, given that as per the guide, that saves money. Their housing guide is useful. However, yet to start working towards this.
