Hi Faith09,

just to build on what the others have said, INSEAD always stresses that quality is more important than length. So, there is no age cut-off per se.

That being said, in my experience, 35-36 at the time the program starts seems to be usually the limit of the class.

You can take a look at the INSEAD MBA'22D Class Profile here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/insead-mba-2 ... 79477.html

You'll see that, while in terms of age you'd be outside the range, in terms of years of work experience you could still be within the range. I guess the mismatch between your age and number of years of work experience is due to a Master's degree of some kind or Ph.D.?

Anyway, in cases like yours, the key is to convince the AdCom that:

a. This is the right time for you to get an MBA
b. You have achieved more (career-wise) than the average 27-28-29-year-old applicant
c. An EMBA does not suit your career aspirations

Luckily, the INSEAD app is quite comprehensive (with 7 required essays and 2 optional), so there is plenty of room to tell your story and accomplish the above.

Otherwise, you'll probably be encouraged to apply to the Executive MBA program (GEMBA) instead.

I hope this helps.

Warm regards
Alex
