Does age play a big role for full time programs?? I mean I went to a couple of schools. I never found it difficult to mix with folks from a different age group. I am 31. Just curious

vamkrispk - As long as your profile, career goals and motivations for 'why MBA' are solid, your age (31) shouldn't be of concern. I'd like to understand these angles deeper to advise better.
FYI, I've worked with candidates above 30 yo who have gotten into some of the top EU/ UK and US programs: some recent success stories are here, here and here.

This doesn’t pose a problem in most cases - it’s a bit old for HBS & GSB but not a dealbreaker or anything. There are some programs like Ross and MIT specifically friendly towards more seasoned applicants. I would make sure the goal you state is age-appropriate- which should be fine in most cases but I do hear 30 is kind of near the cutoff for Investment Banking.
