Q1. reported problems = plural, so need plural verb 'stem', down to c,d,e. I am not confident on this one but I would go C based on concision and parallel construction. Can anyone confirm? (or shoot down
)Q2. costs= plural, so need a plural verb. Thus 'amounted to' is correct and we are down to c,d,e. Of those, 'greater than' is correct. I would go with C again.
