My call was from the Dir. of MBA Admissions. Maybe the Admissions Office isn't 'technically' open, but I know at least some people are working...because I missed the call and had to call Rodrigo back at his office.

There's an admitted thread on here: admitted-to-texas-mccombs-class-of-2013-thread-109248.html

There are the discussion boards in the admitted student portal.

And there's a facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=gro ... 9107914979). It has 65 people in it, incidentally. The 2012 one has 309 (given there are only 260 students in each class, some are likely upperclassmen [picking out all the hot girls before they arrive?] and significant others).

I think the staff has been on a long break, for the whole admission process. This has to be one of the worst application process ever I have seen.

Got dinged yesterday.....received two emails, just to rub it in.

This is very perplexing for me as I received my interview invite less than one week after app submission, and my interviewer told me, "You are very bright and unique. You should have no trouble at McCombs. Let me know if you decide to go to there or another school".

730/3.7/5+

As was stated, I guess I should not have been relying on McCombs as a safety.

Just got an interview invite by email. I submitted my application on 1/14. 710 GMAT (44 Q, 41 V), with a 3.4 GPA from University of Texas Undergrad majoring in Economics.

Contact them again after the admission process is complete. You will need to indicate your interest in applying next year and sort of impress upon on them to help you out. The response you got is like an automated reply--most schools do this to minimize their after-work.

Long time lurker on this thread...

I finally got my admit today!!!! :) :)

Indian/Male/750/3.5 yrs in sales/Cleantech

Applied 1/14, interview invite 2/22, interview completed 3/02, Admit 3/11

Folks who have been admitted, typically long does it take from the time of admit till they get back to you with any scholarship offers? Although they said 15 days before the decision deadline, I was just wondering...

When I got the admit call they said it would be 3-4 weeks before I received my scholarship offer and it ended up being just over 6 weeks (I got the scholarship info 1 week before my decision date). Mine may have been particularly long since I was invited to apply for a Forte Fellowship. I didn't end up getting it, but I'm guessing my application for it may have delayed my scholarship report a bit.

I am not quite sure whether to ask this question or not, but after reading the past thread some people says that after GIAC received their transcripts and dcouments their status in GIAC website changed to
"Your application is complete and ready to be reviewed by the Graduate Commitee"

Is this the next step after your dcoument requirement has been completed?

Because curerntly my GIAC status is still written as below:
"We've received all the items needed to review your application for admission. "

FYI, I have not received any interview invitation yet, no email, and no news from the McCombs adcom.
(submitted my app on 14 Jan, GIAC received my documents 2 March)

Well my status reads - "Your file has been forwarded to the Graduate Committee for review."

Have applied on 12th Jan. and GIAC had received transcript some time in Dec.
I had contacted AdCom as there were some issues with my transcript records. They said, there are no actions on my part. So now I am just waiting. Have not received any interview invite / ding.

As far as I remember it is the subsequent status. But, I have been following a lot of applications for this round. So, I might be wrong.

About waiting. Same here. I am losing hope as I get dings from other universities. I think McCombs have not touched my application file yet. :-|

How soon after the interview is complete should the website status update? Mine still shows the interview as scheduled. We interviewed last Saturday. Should I shoot my interviewer an email?

I figure if that you don't have a ding, then atleast there is hope. After I received the interview email, my status changed to the following:

I didn't get an email specifically saying I didn't get the Fellowship, but they had told me when I was invited to apply that I would know if I had it by my decision date (my decision date was March 15). I had figured it would have been sent with my other scholarship email since that would make the most sense, or that I would have at least heard about it separately by this past Tuesday. I assumed I hadn't gotten the Fellowship when it wasn't part of my scholarship package, and my assumption was confirmed when I didn't hear anything about the Fellowship before my decision date.
