Thanks for the replies. So I proceeded to ask the school to for my feedback and they did reply. It was about my low GPA. I dont know, but applicants do pay quite high fees (for me) for the application. Mine was US150. Maybe we deserve some feedback? On a separate note, couldnt someone have verified my GPA status before advising me to submit the the application?; so we didnt have to waste anyone's time and money? because mine's a UK degree which requires conversion. maybe I should have checked 1st with their admission advisors :|

Whoa! Wait did i understand this right? Was your application rejected because you had a low GPA or because your GPA wasn't converted for that particular schools expected format?

if there is no problem with you, What was your GPA in US scale? what was the school you have applied to? There is still a lot of schools that accepts low GPA. You can find success stories here in GMAT club.

good luck and do not give up

That's a very clear answer from the school and that means you need to get to work. Start building that alternative transcript TODAY!

Actually im not sure. In UK it is second class lower honours (2:2). It seems like there is no hard and fast conversion rule. Based on my light research, 2:2 can mean anything between 2.5 - 3.3 GPA.

Thank you. I will still try and find a suitable program for me.

Sorry to hear that, kellios. :( I'm no expert and I don't know what the protocol for this is, but I know I'd definitely appreciate feedback in a case like that. I'd say give it a go. A polite request for feedback can't hurt. What have you got to lose? Best of luck with your other applications!
