Hi anchalsingla20,

Your GMAT score is slightly on the lower side but it's important to understand that GMAT is not only criteria to get an admit in B-Schools. B-Schools looks for candidates carrying high academic ability, leadership qualities, communication skills, clarity of goals and Contribution and Passionate. Make sure you build an excellent story and present it in a very professional and simple language. Try to stand out rather fitting in which makes your profile unique.

It would be great if you could share more details like your under graduate score, work experience, extra curriculum, achievements, post MBA goals to evaluate your profile with our MBA application experts and also to know the realistic chances of getting into top B-schools.

You can also evaluate your profile by using our ingenious tool called B-School Selector. B-School selector is an intelligent B-Schools shortlisting tool designed by a team of expert consultants graduated from Ivy League B-Schools. This tool provides the list of B-Schools where you have fair chances of getting an admission based on certain parameters like GMAT Score, Work Experience, International Work Experience and Academic Scores. Please click on the below-mentioned link to use the tool.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, it's hard to give you a proper read without further information on your profile. Depending on your professional credentials, academic history, and demographic / geographic information, a 690 means a lot of different potential schools.

Can you provide further information?

Best,
BeenThere

In case you do target Europe as well, I just created new topic with relevant data:

What the average GMAT scores at the top business schools don’t tell you :

Don’t assume that the average score represents the whole picture.

The range of GMAT scores vary a lot.

The difference between the minimum and maximum usually could be over a 100 points.

The average GMAT score in isolation actually doesn’t mean much from admission committee perspective.

Business school admission officers look at many other aspects of your profile to decide whether your MBA application should be accepted or rejected.

In another words, they evaluate your profile holistically.

Good Luck ! :geek:
