Hi,
I took my GMAT exam about a week ago. My score is 690 (Q:47, V:38, IR:8, AWA: 5)
For my first attempt, I'd used the
GMATClub Tests and the Official GMAC Exams (all six of them) for my mock tests.
I want to retake my exam, but my
GMATClub tests are exhausted, and I'm confused which CATs to take now.. Any suggestions?
I'm hoping to improve my Quant to around 49, and my Verbal to 42-43. Honestly, my Verbal score this time should have been 40-ish, but my computer restarted a record 5 times during the exam and I lost 6-7 minutes on the Verbal section, which were not compensated for.
I'd like to gain a bit more clarity about how to approach Quant questions, and to improve my speed in Verbal.
Is it worth it to resubscribe to the GMATClub CATs and take those tests again?
Is there anything you can suggest?
Which are the best CATs outside GMAC and GMATClub,
especially for Verbal?
Any help would be appreciated
Hi
13S12,
Reset GMATClub CATs. Intention is not to just take the CATs but is to learn as much as you can. Questions in GMATClub CATs cover the tricks and traps used in official questions.
MGMAT - Awesome Verbal questions after official ones. Quant is a little tough but still very very relevant to GMAT questions. A lot can be learnt.
Apart from these take those official CATs again and again and learn from every single question.
Question pack - you can make 4 CATs from these. you will just not get the score.
Exam Packs - 4 official CATs (repeat them)
GMATPrep Default CATs - learn from all the questions.
ALL OGs.
AND YES - Have you been revising less and learning more? Learn as much as you can but make revision the most important thing in your entire prep.
