Can you advise me online verbal course for international students?

One thing that can help (no matter your study path) is getting an idiom list (for SC) for the GMAT. Consider checking out the Verbal sub-forum by the way.

Hi ravigupta2912,
So, which one did you choose and how did it go? I am in the same boat that you were back then.
Looking forward to your thoughts.

Best,
Paridhi

I'm still a bit confused on which quant course to pick. I scored a Q46 and i'm targeting Q50 in my retake that i plan to take in May. I've taken EGMAT for verbal and I'm a bit hesitant in taking them for Quant since I feel their Quant pace may be similar to that of verbal (which at times is really really slow).

Would prefer a course high on quality and content, preferably not too long i.e. it assumes basic knowledge of concepts and gives you GMAT hacks and tips to crack those 700+ questions in particular. I sucked at DS in my last and first attempt.

I am looking for an online program to prepare for my incoming GMAT test. I would prefer a program with written theory/explanation etc as I feel it is easier for me to study when I read than when I listen/watch, but this is not critical. What would you recommend? Hi all
I'll need to improve my score from 640 to somewhere between 680 and 700, in 5 weeks. Do you think it's feasible?
I exhausted all questions from OG and my maximum score was 680 in official mocks, with V38 in one mock and Q49 in another. But I can't "mix" good scores from both quant and verbal. I guess the emotional part is the most difficult for me.
Do you especially recommend a course for me? Do you feel like I can cover the TTP accelerated module in 5 weeks? I took it for a month and improved a lot my algebra skills, but I didn't have the chance to look for the Verbal part. Also, the currency of my country is quite "unbalanced", so 99 bucks a month will make 25% of my salary lol.

Hi LeftShallot,

Raising a 640 to a 680+ in 5 weeks is a reasonable goal - but the end result will ultimately depend on your ability to learn and practice the proper Quant and Verbal Tactics (so that we can eliminate the variations in your Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores and get you consistently performing at that higher level).

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) When did you take your Official GMAT and what were your Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores?
2) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
3) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
4) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

If you took your Official GMAT at a Test Center, then you might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

Actually no, I gave a break from the GMAT, I'm studying for TOEFL right now.
I plan to come back in a few days. When I get back, I'll DM you to get a promo code.

Might be worth googling that query. There was a gmatclub promo code that may still be valid.

Hi all,

I have been practicing for gmat for a while now, and I can tell that I am good enough to score +700 in CR, RC and quant. But I have serious problems with SC section and it seems that I am getting worse at it!
Any recommendations for me? I am planning to take the test in 2 months.

The gmatclub study plan post mentions a variety of resources you can check out. Have suggested Manhattan-Prep's 6th Edition for SC to students. Fair to say including Official SC question such as those from the Official-Guide 2022 into your prep path would be a solid choice.

All the best with the prep. SC idiom list you can also download.

Hi Community - I need some help with my GMAT Prep.
I have a 700 Score on the Classic GMAT - which is 86 Percentile.

I am looking to improve on this in the next 2 months - Target is a score above the 90 Percentile. If that is 675/ 695 I am not sure.

I need advice on what prep material to use.
Currently I have the Focus Edition OG and the Review Books.

I am looking to enroll with a portal based prep service, however very tight on the budget. TTP/eGMAT/Magoosh.

Any success stories? please guide?

Thanks in Advance.
