Hi everyone, I’m currently looking into
MiM programs and would really appreciate your advice. My main goal is to break into
IB ideally in
London, but I’m also very interested in
PE/VC later on, and I want to keep the door open for
MBB consulting as well.
In terms of location, London is my top priority, followed by Dubai, where I think speaking Arabic could give me an edge, and then Paris as a strong backup since I’m fluent in French. Visa issues are definitely something I need to consider because I’m a non-EU/UK citizen, so the ability to stay and work after graduation matters.
The programs I’m currently considering are
LBS MiM,
HEC MiM,
ESSEC MiM,
ESCP MiM, and
INSEAD MiM. If there are other programs that you think would be better for my goals, please let me know.
What I’m trying to figure out is:
- Which of these schools gives the best shot at breaking into IB in London, and if not, still gives me strong chances of securing a MBB role?
- For someone in my situation, is it smarter to prioritize the UK for the graduate visa and off-cycle opportunities, or does the brand name of schools like HEC or INSEAD carry more weight if I end up working in Dubai or Paris instead?
I just want to understand which one would maximize my career prospects across IB, PE/VC, and consulting.
Thanks a lot for your insights!
