That link looks like the same brand and type of markers used at the test center... these are non-permanent markers. These are not the same as dry erase markers. These require a wet wipe to erase them. These do not meet the qualifications put out by GMAC though you could probably solve it by spitting at it ?

But seriously, even though these are great markers, they are not allowed

Sorry.

Hi workout.

Nope. I started researching once I got to know that GMAC has started allowing physical whiteboard.

I found a whiteboard by Nineva at Amazon. Zoomed in the image to see the kind of pen they have used. :)

Here's the link for whiteboard.

No. You cannot erase them with a dry eraser. The dry erase is a requirement by GMAC at this time. Therefore, you cannot use these markers that you found. Sorry.

Make sure you search for “dry erase”

You may take notes using one of the following:
White board with erasable marker

These markers meet ETS requirements for GRE at home test, I guess. I will try them.

I usually use EXPO. I really like it. The colors are vivid and can erase cleanly without leaving streaks behind. It also has different sizes for you.

I was using U Brands Liquid glass board markers so I recommend this, the markers also come with erasers on the top that allow you to easily wipe off whatever you wrote on your glass board so you don’t need to buy a separate eraser. Dries quite fast after write.

I recommend you EXPO Low Odor Dry Erase Markers. The colors are vivid that can be easily seen. The markers are intensely colored and dry quickly, so you need to be light-handed when applying them and quick-handed when wiping the excess ink away.

I agree with bb. I tried the Staedler non permanent markers suggested by chetan92, no doubt are good but are not dry-erase, meaning you cannot clean the whiteboard without a "liquid eraser". There are dry-erase markers with 1mm thickness which, I recommend (been using them for the past 1 month). Here is the link to it.
Staedtler Lumocolor Whiteboard Marker Bullet Tip Approx. 1 mm Line Width, Set of 4 Brilliant Colours, High Quality, Dry and Residue-Free Wipe-Clean from Whiteboards

I used these for my prep. They worked great but ran out quickly. Make sure you save a few fresh ones for the exam. Good luck!

Hi bb

Can you please help me understand whether the below mentioned marker is suitable for GMAT since they are water soluble.

Can I use little water and a cloth/ duster for cleaning the whiteboard?

Try this pen:
Luxor Finewriter 05 (available on Amazon for Rs 120/- for a pack of 10)

It's typically a pen, but can write on whiteboard and it's erasable too!!!
You can try this if you want.
