Can the people who have given their interviews, please share the debriefs?
Sure mate.
I’m an R2 applicant. I received the invite (over a phone call) on 5th of April and they told me that my interview would be on the 7th. I requested them to have it moved to some other slot and they were kind enough to do so. I was interviewed on 6th April.
1 BITSoM Faculty/Lead (IIM A grad), 2 Pilani Alums
All males
The first 15 minutes were spent on my work-ex - what I do and a slightly detailed discussion on a recent project.
Next 15 minutes were regarding my MBA plans - why MBA, any other B-Schools, motivations for BITSoM, how will I choose between B-Schools, post-MBA goals.
I’d say the interview was pretty conversational and they were genuinely interested in hearing what I wanted to say.
Quick pointer - they have our resumes/applications in front of them and are aware about our GMAT scores (someone had once told me that the ISB interview panel doesn’t know your GMAT score, not sure though).
Hope this helps, thanks
