How many words for the recommendation letter of Booth?

ashwinkumar. I don't remember seeing anything mentioned with regards to number of words. The norm at other schools is two pages. So I have asked my recommenders to keep the letter to two pages, covering all of the points mentioned in their application instructions page. Hope that helps.

How many words for the recommendation letter of Booth?

I read this:

Bill -> Joanna Hello, what is the typical length for a letter of recommendation to Booth?
Joanna -> Bill Bill, the length can vary and there is no typical right length for a letter. It all depends on the quality of information conveyed. Good luck.

here: https://www.chicagobooth.edu/fulltime/ch ... 06-26.aspx

Hope it helps :)

Has anyone noticed that when you print out a preview of the application, some texts were cut out? For me, texts in significant professional awards were cuts out, as well as those under organization/extracurricular descriptions.

Dear all,

a minor question. Does it matter if my essay is 3 words over the limit? I hope that not.

Thank you in advance

Shouldn't be a problem. I think most schools are liberal with actual word count being within 5-10% over guided limits. 3 words over seem immaterial.

Juancito - I am certainly not the authority on the matter, but I have heard from multiple sources that you can be slightly over. They are not going to be counting words. If it's any comfort, I was about 5 words over on my essays as well.

I also noticed that my surname is not appearing on the first page of the proof.

Hello guys,

Did someone manage to upload its presentation essay? Each time i click on upload and select my file, my screen freezes and nothing happens. I checked and my file is lighter than the 16MB limits so I really don't understand. Anyone encountered the same issue so far?

Thanks in advance ;-)

Yes, I was able to. I printed mine to PDF and then uploaded

When I uploaded my PPT, it converted it to PDF and some of the graphics were lost. Do you think I should print each slide, scan it, and put it into one document? Or will the adcoms be looking at it in PPT format?

I was re-uploading my PPT, and I actually just noticed that the instruction on the application website for the Presentation/Essays is: "Upload a Word or PDF document:".

Not sure if that was always there, but I guess it's confirmed that you should convert the Powerpoint to PDF before uploading.

Ha! Me too.

Some last minute drama - Booth doesn't accept Amex. :o
