has anyone gotten their call from a number ending in 248? im trying to figure out which school called me for this neil guy. if it was an alum or an admissions person calling from a private number/cell phone it could be either booth or kellogg...

You mentioned it was a 773 area code. That would be Chicago Booth. Kellogg (I think) is 847 area code.

unless it's an alum calling

For Chicago Booth, I've never heard of anyone other than adcoms making the calls. If Kellogg alums make calls, you could be correct.

Hang in there folks. Unlike Wharton where my call was very brief (30 seconds or less) my Booth call was conversational and much longer (2-5 minutes). This makes me think that they'll be having these calls all day today to get through their admit lists.

I agree hvietn! I'm on the east coast too and just got a call - in with a scholarship, the adcom makes the calls very personal and it takes a while so I can really see how this would take all day!
