I'm from Chicago... nothing yet. I got a call from a 773 area code and got SO excited. Turns out it was my dinner reservation calling me to confirm for Friday night. Worst let down ever.

Not to give anybody false hope, but it truly isn't over til it's over. Last year, as a Chicago applicant, I got my call at 5:03pm. No joke- I had resigned myself to my fate at 5 on the dot and then, a few minutes later, my phone lit up. So don't lose hope. Best of luck to you all!

got the call at 5:30...based out of chicago. pretty drunk now. been trying to get an MBA for 3 yrs now..first time tried the US schools (i recently moved from India to Chicago). if the call hadn't come, i most probably would've cancelled my plans of doing an MBA ever in my life.

I'm totally piling on false hope, but two things stand out about today... First, look at the live stats. According to that, half the admits got scholarships! That seems quite high compared to last year's percentages. Although, maybe this is explained by a large number of WL admits (no $$$) later, or just that scholarship people are more eager to update their stats. Who knows!

Second, the calls went quite late today. Maybe adcoms love their jobs so much that they would stay past 6pm until whenever it takes to finish their calls. Or maybe they simply went home with some unfinished business :P

didn't get the call on 12/18 and my frustration keeps growing as I fliped through the list. Why everybody take one day eariler as the make/break point when the official decision day is today? Shall the people not called on expect a mental-breaking WL today? (or even worse a ding letter?!)

I hope I am not relying on false hopes but I cannot believe Booth gonna treat me like that. after dings from H/W and a wl from CBS, I don't think I could take another :cry: :cry:
