Did anyone get an email with details post-acceptance? Perhaps I'm over eager but I would like to get on the admitted students site today if possible! By the way- just saw the official note posted in my account following yesterdays' call...

Looks like no calls yet today. Sounds like I need to get prepared to head to McCombs

The forum by and large has been quiet. I keep refreshing my application status page but no updates there either.

Yep, same boat. I'm really glad I got the call early from McCombs because I would be freaking out now if I hadn't heard from and of my R1 schools. I expected the ding from Kellogg, but was hopeful for Booth. I really liked my application / interview, but it looks like it just wasn't meant to be.

I know right! I got an acceptance from Georgetown and a waitlist from NYU. I don't think I'll wait to hear from NYU because I heard that could take anything like 8 months and their yield is very good. I also expected a ding from Kellogg because I didn't interview and I'm totally in the same boat as you with Booth. I really clicked with my interviewer...makes me have doubts about this whole process.

Congrats on your McCombs admit btw! It's a great school and is definitely in my list of R2 apps.

Dinged.

A little disappointed because I figured I had a good shot. Even had an alumi put in a good word for me(on his own accord).

Feel like it was the interview that hurt me. Out of everyone I talked to at Booth, I felt like I had the worst connection with the interviewer.

Congrats to all who got in!

It was my Fiancee's first choice, so she's actually going to be really happy about it. And to be frank, it makes the most sense by a mile for what I want to do (Energy then come back to Texas). I just figured I would try some of the top tier schools and see how it played out. I loved Booth, just loved it. So I am a bit upset about the whole deal, but glad I applied and gave it a good shot.

Either way, I think we can all at least be thankful that they didn't make us wait until 6:00 PM tonight like Kellogg did. I can now get on with my day.

Waitlisted. Better than a ding, I guess. Is anyone familiar with the Booth waitlist policy? I know some schools can basically keep you there until classes actually start, where others will give a final decision by the next round's deadline.

This actually makes sense to me...it's not like Round 2 or Round 3 applicants are going to be any less amazing than Round 1.

Yep, I'm not betting on it. I'm reapplying next year. At least I know how to better prepare. Booth is still my sentimental favorite.
