Dear Admission Consultants,
Greetings. I am a Laboratory Physician from India, who is looking to apply for an MBA (Specialising in Healthcare) and my target industry post-MBA is HealthCare, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Sectors. I am also very keen in delving into Healthcare Consulting should I get a chance to be in that role. In my preliminary research, I have found that most business schools that should be my target are in US (Fuqua, Owen etc) however, I would love to know if there are any such Business schools that I can target in Europe. The reason being my wife has got into a Business School in UK, so my post MBA target region for work is Europe/UK.
Kindly, help me out. I am due to appear for GMAT in December, my target score is 700+ (I already have an existing GMAT score of 640).
Also, I would love to know other schools in US (apart from the ones that I mentioned) too which meet my requirements.
Looking forward to hear from the experts and other community members.

Hi drroy, the US holds the majority business schools to provide the healthcare specializations, your research for good schools to match your post-MBA plans are true. However, being an Indian applicant even with a diverse profile needs a GMAT score above 710+ would be great to compete with international applicants. Apart from the schools listed above, you can try targetting Kelley school of business, Boston University, Marshall School of business are some of the good schools for applicants planning to pursue an MBA in the healthcare sector. Speaking of European schools, you can check our for HEC Paris, IESE, and LBS to suit your post-MBA goals.

I absolutely understand what you mean to say. I’ll sure target a higher GMAT score. I have heard good tings about Kelley and have read about a candidate in Kelley with my background now in Investment Banking, so yeah anything is possible post entry into the business school. I hope, I can achieve my target GMAt score first.
