and why did they post the link in the News section of the MyiMpact website

okkk I feel like a fool for getting fooled but I feel good for being able to use the building sooner. So the net effect is still positive.

It's the b school newspaper.... typically all school papers do a 'joke' issue for april fool's day (check out the other articles... some are actually pretty funny)

Anyways, I just got a call from FedEx !!!! my admit binder is here !!!! I am so happy, but unfortunatelly I won't get to see it for another 2-3 hours because I have to work :(.
It is kind of weird that they called me to tell me this, but it was so nice of them to call me, after me calling them 2-3 times (without a tracking number) to enquire about my package :)... soo I am making friends everywhere as a result of this MBA application process :)

Networking as it is :) It would be fun when on MAP project you give a call to FedEx and settle all the things in half a minute and then turn to your teammates with a big smile and say: "Oh, I've never told you - they are my great friends due to Ross admit" :)
Congrats on finally getting the binder! Have you already turned to some particular apartment for housing or search is in progress? Suppose that after GBR it will get hard to find a good apartment. I noticed that after the first wave of admits a house that was nice, not expensive and close to school, was fully booked out in a couple of days.

To answer your question about housing... I know I want to live in the Hidden Valley Club Apartments :) and they don't seem to be very popular so I hope some are left after the GBR.
I am still not ready to apply for the apartments because I have tons of other things that I need to get done and I am just tired of paperwork right now. But I called them like a week ago and they have apartment available to move in now, soo I don't think they will be all leased out soon.
Oh and the Hidden Valley Club is perfect for me because it is 1 mile from the mall, and it is at a distance from the school but still there is a direct bus line (no transfers). I don't want to live close to the school because i want to 'go home' after school I need a place where I can relax at some distance from the b-school jungle. I lived in college dorm 4 years during undergrad and I am sick of being a student 100% of the time.
So guys, please don't take HVC apartmens, leave some available for me!!!

I think my wife and I have sort of short listed based on the websites down to : Lake Village, Briar Cove and Harbour House. Again, this is just some very preliminary list without having any idea about the distances etc.

I think we will be ready to sign the lease on an apartment only in June/July.

I vote for Lake Village out of these.
Blair Cove is kind of too far (on the other side of the interstate) but they are definitely nice
Harbour House ... hmmm.... https://www.harborhousesucks.com/
Lake Village is close to HVC but they are much more expensive
