I have not officially decided to apply but one of my fellow managers went to Michigan and has almost convinced me to apply. From everything I have read they have pretty decent placement in IB. Are most of you guys taking the Citi Assist loan and not the federal loans given how low the interest rates are right now? Just pondering the decision. 6.8% is not such a good rate right now.

Is 6.8% what the federal loans should be next year? They were mentioning 7.9% at GBR.

ncprasad : Congrats dude! Finally I am REALLY happy you swayed our way. livehard : Another congrats to you. Sloan was my top choice and ended up being a ding. Honestly it did not hurt at all since I had Ross admit already. As for the collegiate/sports atmosphere, I am 100% with you. I come from a very technical 'zero' athletics undergrad, and cherish Michigan's strong presence in sports. As an avid European soccer fan, I know first hand the bonding power of sports and fandom. Michigan has this as an intangible for sure... I plan to be at every game and tailgate. I count on you to join me! GO BLUE!

help guys who have been accepted!! I just got an email this morning from Ross' financial aid office. It gave me a Michigan ID number and told me to sign up for the wolverineaccess to view my Financial Aid Award Notice. So I signed up and logged in and was able to get access to my official financial aid award letter, with all the loans I am approved for. I need to accept/decline the loans. Does this mean I am accepted??? I am a Round 3 applicant, I interviewed two weeks ago, and have not heard anything yet until this. Please tell me i am not jumping to any conclusions, but I hope they wouldnt tell my my loan info and then reject me?????

Sounds like it to me. Either that or they made a mean mistake. What does your status show on the app system?

Is it the app status link the one in Wolverine Access? What should it say? Mine just states the term (Fall 08), program, app number and date. Nothing about an admit yet. Did anyone else recieve their award notice before they got their admit? thanks!
