Interviewing... sweeeeet. Who has the stats on how many interview vs accepted?

I also received an ED interview invite :shock:

and have the same question. What % of interviewees get accepted? Anyone know where I can find this information?

I never received any confirmation that feedback was received. I interviewed and then 1.5 weeks later received an email saying that a 'final deciscion had been rendered'.

So after interview, there is nothing we can do .......... Just have finger/toes/whatever stuff crossed .......

I thought you guys all got feedback in two days. I checked the spreadsheet from BW forum, it looks like almost all the candidates who got interview had their status changed to "Complete" after 1-2 business days. Is that same to you malik?

hohoo, when did you interview?

Did you check the columbia interview system to see if interview details still show? (i think if it doesn't show anymore it means interviewer has submitted)

But the actual columbia application system is suppose to change status to "complete", but it hasn't done that for me. Has your status changed from "invited to interview" to "complete"? If not, please let me know if it does...

I've waited for 1.5 days and it still hasn't.

Hi Everyone,

First time posting, but just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this forum for all their guidance and helpful suggestions!

I just received my ED Interview invite today. My timeline is below:
9/16 - Submission
9/23 - Under Review
10/22 - Interview Invite

To answer the % acceptance rate, my admission consultant said for Columbia its roughly 25%-33%.

Which makes me EVEN MORE nervous about the interview!! Any special hints/suggestions, other than be yourself and the why mba/why columbia/ethics questions?

Nope, I never received an 'interview complete' email or status change. My interview specifics did disappear, however. I was giving them 10 days before I called to see what was going on. My admittance came on the 8th day.

Hi, timothy322. I just did my interview yesterday. And I checked the interview scheduling system, you are right, the mailing list page/interview specific page is gone. My status does not change yet, still "interview invited" .......

This weeks will be really long to me! ............ I have to workout everyday to make me feel better ........... hay, free tip for releasing the stress :-D

Hi guys,

I interviewed with an alumnus on Monday 10/19, and he said he would submit the feedback that day or the next day. However, I saw that the interview details in the interview system went away on Tuesday night and the alumnus sent me an email Tuesday night saying he has submitted.

I was expecting a "feedback received" email on Wednesday morning (I read what novian wrote earlier), but I never got it. and it's now Thursday afternoon, and I still have not received that confirm email, and I logged into the columbia system and it is still showing as "invited to interview".

Is anyone else in a similar situation who interviewed recently? Is this normal or should I email the admissions office to see what's going on?

I interviewed last Wednesday and still haven't received a "feedback received" email. I wouldn't worry too much about it yet. I read on some previous forums that interviewers have 2 weeks to submit feedback and that there is someone on the ad com that actively monitors that time window and follows up with the interviewer if feedback hasn't been received after a certain point.

Malik -- I wanted to say congratulations on your admission! I read one of your earlier posts on your profile and I was wondering if you can expand a little on what extracurriculars you were involved in and if you think that helped with your app. process. Stele - The main extracurricular i focused on was my involvement with the Make-a-Wish Foundation; I'm pretty heavily involved with them as a wish grantor and as a member of their Young Professionals Advisory Council. I even dedicated essay 4 to it! Also am an officer for an employee network at my work - something I highlighted in essay 3. I definitely think my extracurriculars helped me out, I think i was really able to differentiate myself.

To those who interviewed, is there a status change when the feedback gets submitted? My interviewer mentioned that feedback has been submitted, but status in my application still says Invited to Interview.
