jerrykid, good luck with your trip to Hong Kong. Like you said, better late than never:) I am interviewing myself in Singapore this coming Saturday. I'm a little surprised that they cannot ask more people to do an interview for you in Singapore, considering they have a campus here...

Soviet-style censorship on GMATclub board

Be advised that you are not getting the whole picture of the application process, and critical information is withheld from you.

My informed opinion on Booth tread was deleted without a trace, like some vanishing komissar on Stalin's photos, by a self-appointed supreme judge and executioner who doesn't even bother answering requests for clarification. This sickening panicky behavior shows the real respect that the founders of this board have for the community on whose back they make their advertising money.

I know that this post probably will not last a minute before it is deleted again (so much for the "freedom of speech" and "ethics" of the future leaders), but take a notice: see today's article on WSJ "Chicago Population Sinks to 1920 Level".

Those of you preparing to study in Chicago should know that they will be passively supporting one of the most corrupted city governments in the history of the US (research Daley pere et fils, Blago trial) - a fact that doesn't seem to bother their esteemed freedom-loving professors also.

Hilarious...absolutely hilarious..nazis are back... ;)

Learn to speak for yourself.

Don't try to inflate your own importance by presenting your little tiny servile opinion as coming from some group of other frightened .$$ smoochers.

Even if auto-inflating and self-promoting is a required trait for a successful MBA candidate.

I'm speaking for myself : "Go get therapy!" ... i for one have got no patience for this loser-talk... Mods, get your act together....

I believe that Booth R1 waitlisters will start hearing final decisions after Feb 24. That's the deposit deadline for R1 accepted students (those accepted back in Dec), so that's when the school finds out who's accepting their R1 offers.

I was at admitted students weekend at Booth this past weekend, and they announced that they've had a record response already to their offers (i.e., higher yield than past years)...

The good news is, I decided that Booth is a great school but it's not for me. So there's at least one spot that will open up shortly...

The guy got banned and came back under a new IP. Then re-banned when that was discovered. Not sure what else you would have us do.

Did anyone have a bad interview with Booth? Mine was horrible...We ended up talking about my job for most of the time and I felt that I was convincing the person to invest in my firm instead of advertising myself for the school. So strange...and at the end he kept looking at his watch and at the clock which i though was completely inappropriate...

Did anyone have similar experiences?

Thx,

Thx,

I believe the alumni interviewers have firm instructions not to exceed 30 mins for the interview and 15 mins for the Q&A thereafter. Maybe he was just trying to follow the guideline.

They don't. The guy was just a little rude. It happens.
