So I just had my on-campus interview with Booth today. It went REALLY well, I thought they did a great job of matching me with a second year who was going into the industry (mgmt consulting) that I am interested in. I was also AMAZED by how much I liked Booth, the students, alumni, the campus, and many of their offerings. I also heard while there that they had 62 full time positions offered to graduating mba's from McKinsey, which is pretty mind blowing.
The interview was pretty standard, but I was lucky to run into another interviewee before my interview who helped me calm my nerves and shared some of her interview questions. I can't stress how at ease I felt after just some casual conversion. My questions were pretty standard too, why MBA, walk me through your resume, why booth, and two strengths and two weaknesses. It was very conversational and flowed really well.
Capuella, did you do the campus visit too? I was the kid asking too many questions during the information session. Hope you had a good interview, and good luck on admissions.
Good luck to everyone else!
EDIT: I just remembered that I was also asked about an example of leadership. I think he liked my answer, cause he cut in a couple times to agree with me.
