^^ i think you get in trouble if you do EA to two schools. But probably no harm in doing EA to UNC and then rejecting the acceptance offer.

hey guys, I just filled half of the form yesterday. Was just considering applying to UNC in 2nd round, and I received an interview invite. The mail says "Please visit the "Interviews and Campus Visit" link on the Student Center page of your MyUNC account to select an interview date, time, type and other visit components." But I can't find any Interviews and Campus Visit link on MyUNC page. Need help

Hi All,

I had the Alum interview yesterday (11 Nov 2010), here is how it went:

The interviewer was very friendly. He made me comfortable and then introduced himself, and told a little about his career progression after graduating from the school. Hen then went about to explain the interview process and what is expected out of the interview.

Here are the list of questions:

- If i were to tell your 3 biggest strengths to the Adcom, what should i say?
- short term career goal and long term career goal
- Why MBA
- Teamwork experience
- Leadership experience
- Why MBA and why not MS???


I asked him few questions about the school and his experiences there...

that's it. All done in 40 mins.

Question for you all -- is being in-state supposed to be at all easier to gain admission?

I don't have a definitive answer. But I would think that if you are in-state, that tells the school that you have an extra incentive to accept if offered an admission.

Is any one facing issues with the recommendations? My recommenders didn't get the link even though I submitted them twice.

I have the same problem. After pushing the "send e-mail" button for each of the recommendors, the button changes to "email sent". Then, upon leaving the Recommendations menu and entering it again, the button still reads "send e-mail". At first I thought this was an option to send a reminder, but today my recommendors told me they had not received anything. I tried several more times but the result has been negative so far. Any ideas?

I believe a few of us on this board have completed our interviews. The website says that Early Action applicants will hear back on December 13th.
