I had my interview with an admissions director today at UNC-CH. It was a great experience. The interviewer had did his home work and gone through my resume. The interview was more of a conversational than a Q&A. He started off by asking me how I ended up in the US and how I landed a job here. He was very co-operative and gave me positive feedback. We also spoke about books and music(I had listed that as my hobbies). Even though I did not ask for feedback, he gave me a positive feedback which made me happy as this was my first interview. I was not nervous and I would suggest you to maintain your cool as well. Just think of the interview as getting to know each other. And don't be nervous. Show enthusiasm and be optimistic. Be prepared to ask some questions and share what you want to do to the KFBS community.
Also, before the interview, try to take a tour of the campus. The MBA Ambassadors are very helpful and sweet. In spite of it being a holiday they offered to give me a tour of the campus which I thought was very sweet.
I hope the interview will help me towards securing an admit. Keeping my fingers crossed and All the Best for everyone out there!!
Let me know if I can be of any help.
