I don't think this is true. User Pdgmat2010 posted earlier on this thread -- on pages 11 & 12 -- indicating that he/she had received an email from KF saying that they were not awarding him/her a scholarship. This was for an earlier round.

So... either they're still sorting through scholarships a day late, or they changed their procedure between the previous and current rounds. Odd.

Yikes... didn't mean to make anyone upset with my comment.

To answer your question, I really don't know. The point of my earlier post is that someone else who was accepted in an earlier round from this school has already posted information on this topic, and that it appears that the procedure for this round has changed from what it was in an earlier round.

If you choose to believe that Pdgmat2010 was not being honest in December, that's your choice. But from his/her messages, it certainly appears to me that the school did, indeed, "rub it in" in the earlier round.

Another possibility is that he asked them directly if he would receive a scholarship so they responded. Regardless, it appears that for this round they are only sending an email if you have received a scholly.

Just to clarify the mistery, I didn't receive the e-mail with scholarship info, so I contacted admission and they informed me that e-mails are only sent to those students who are receiving a scholarship. Hope this helps. Also, did anybody hear anything about verification, background check?

I got the following email form the admissions

"We have received all of your application documents to our full time MBA Program. Your application is now ready to be reviewed by the Admissions Committee with deadline 3 (Jan. 7). Admissions decisions are scheduled to be mailed and posted online by 5:00 pm on Monday, March 21, 2011. Once the decisions are posted online, you will be notified by email."

I did not do an inquiry or ask for a status update and I interviewed on Jan 28th. Did anyone else get this email? Do you know what it means??
