anyone knows about the Status changes, dates for interviews, etc. Are all interviews sent together the 15th of Feb? I wish i would get an email just as i did for wharton
The confirmation page in the application gave this information. Interview invites should start coming out 1/25. That's what it said on mine. So enjoy the lull til it's time to start checking your inbox obsessively.

I submitted my application yesterday. everything looks fine except it shows GMAT status as 'awaiting'. I took the GMAT on 6/6/11, and Booth was one of the schools I sent the scores to, so they should have received it by now. Based on this
"It can take time to process materials. We appreciate your patience and ask that you wait four (4) weeks following the application deadline for materials that were sent separately, such as test scores (GMAT, TOEFL, etc.), transcripts, and recommendations, to appear as having been received. We will contact you if we have not received your materials by that time."
- should I wait to contact them? Does anyone else see a similar status for their GMAT scores?

same here, i think it is not automated so someone should look for your score from another database or something

I saw the same message on my confirmation page. I took my GMAT 5/21/11 and also listed Booth as one of my 5 schools. For now just follow the directions given. I'm sure they have the score but just need time to match it up to your application.

I called adcoms and she said they wont need the gmat until I'm accepted, so the status will keep on reading "awaiting" until...if...I get acceptend and then I officially send them the gmat score.

I think with the GMAT it is a matter of matching up the report they received with your application. I took the GMAT in November and put the GMAT score in my application in December, long after GMAT had confirmed delivery of the official score report. At first it read 'Awaiting' then changed to 'Verified' a few days later. If you input your GMAT score right before submitting, they may have a backlog of report to match to applications.

Just a question, how is it possible that the admitted students are 957 and the class size is actually 1117, so the yield is more than 100% ?

Class size of 1117 is probably spanning over 2 classes. Each class around 550-570 students. Hope this answers your question.

Curious which confirmation page gave you this information? I never saw this when I submitted. Can you log in right now and still see this confirmation page post submission? I looked everywhere and didn't see this. Appreciate the help!

Sorry it's not the confirmation page. It was an email I got right after I submitted.

Thank you for submitting your Chicago Booth Full-Time MBA application. In keeping with our commitment to transparency in the admissions process, this email explains what will happen with your application throughout the application life cycle.

There are two different phases of the process in each round, and below lists the dates that correspond with each.

Phase One First Date of Invitations to Interview Released Mid-Decision Phase Two Final Decision
Round 1 Oct 12 – Nov. 9 Nov 2 Nov. 9 Nov. 9 - Dec. 14 Dec. 14
Round 2 Jan 4 – Feb 15 Feb 25 Feb. 15 Feb. 15 - Mar. 21 Mar. 21
Round 3 Apr 4- Apr 25 Apr 11 Apr 25th Apr. 25-May 16 May 16
Phase One

This is our primary application evaluation period. During this time, the system will review your application for completeness. If any materials are missing you will receive an email informing you to review your checklist to determine what is missing.

Invite to Interview - The Admissions Committee will begin to release interview invitations during Phase One and will continue this process through the mid-decision date. Look for an email that asks you to check your status via the online application system. If you are invited to interview, the Admissions Committee believes an interview will help us further evaluate your admission credentials.

Mid Decision

All applicants will receive an invitation to interview, or will be denied without an interview on the mid-decision date.

Phase Two

As soon as you have been invited to interview, you will need to schedule and complete your Admissions interview. After your interview is completed, the Committee will again read your application along with your interview feedback in order to make a final decision.

Final Decision

On the final decision date, we will release your final decision at 9:00 am. You may view your status via the online application system.

The Admissions team is here to address your questions and concerns. Feel free to reach us at 773.702.7369 or [email protected].

Best of luck!

Thanks for the reply Cheetarah! I never received this confirmation email after submission. Everything looks right on the website when I log in, but no confirmation email. Anyone else with this issue? A bit paranoid now...

I never received any type of confirmation e-mail after I submitted my application in R1. I remember thinking that it was kind of strange, especially after hearing from others who did.

As long as it says 'submitted' when you log into the Booth application website, you're fine!

i never received a confirmation email...that worried me too. i got one when my recommenders submitted their letters but not when i submitted my complete app, which i thought was unusual since most schools do. i didn't get one for wharton either. but when i log into both, it says it's submitted...hope it's ok...
