Just found out I'm getting promoted next month--and it's a pretty big promotion. I applied to Booth in R2 and was wondering if anyone here can advise on where Booth stands on sending information . Anyone know where Booth stands on updating adcoms on circumstances such as mine? Thanks in advance for your help.

I'd say go ahead and do it. Don't overthink it. I did add something to my application last year when i applied and they said they would add it to my file.

If its as big a promotion and means so much, I'm sure Booth would appreciate having this information! Go for it!

Mine is still "submitted." I think it will only go "complete" after your interview or after the decision to not interview has been rendered. This is how my other apps have gone, except for CBS, which has a status called "under review," don't think there is a similar status at Booth, but could be wrong.

Guys, allow me to reemphasize!

It doesn't matter whether your overall application status says "Submitted" or "Complete". It also does not matter whether your GMAT Score status is displayed as "Awaiting" or "Received"..

I applied in R1, was shortlisted for the interview and eventually waitlisted. My application status is still "Submitted". My GMAT Score status is still "Awaiting"..I had checked with the ad com on this long time back and this is perfectly normal for Booth.

So don't stress yourself on this aspect at all...Grab a beer and start preparing for your interviews :)

Cheers!

Is this really the sentiment you want to bombard every forum thread with? This application season is far from over and some people may have regrouped for R2 or are shooting for R3. Also there are a lot of R1 WLers who will likely hear good come March or May. Let's try to keep the vibe hopeful for now.

I think that's what people are thinking. The initial email sent out likely had a typo, indicating the invites going out Feb 15 through Feb 25, but January 25 makes much more sense given how Booth has historically operated.

Time will tell.

Even worse, the typo had invites going out from Feb. 25 - Feb. 15. Can you imagine the levels of crazy people would reach if they were waiting for an interview invite for almost a year.

Looked at the R1 invites... it seems like people were only invited one week prior to the mid-decision date of Nov 9. In that case, we wouldn't see invites until Feb 8. However, the email says otherwise, as folks have indicated.

FWIW.. In R1, the invites came in batches. There were two waves each day at approx 9:45 AM CT and then at 1:30 PM CT. I vaguely remember that at least on one day a third batch was also released at 3:30 PM CT.

i deeply apologize, but what the @#$! are you talking about?!? the mid-decision date on the website is Feb 15...clearly in the email sent out by booth they meant Feb 15 - Feb 25 ... am I taking crazy pills here? what's happening? starting the panic 3 weeks prior to that is just insane IMHO ...good luck to everyone!
