I almost did the same thing alex, luckily I remembered to change it at the last minute. I wouldn't worry about it though. If you talk about admission events in your essays, it will be obvious you have in fact gone to some.

Here is my "dumb a.s moment" in application process (hopefully it is the last one for me). I started filling parts of application few weeks ago and at that time completed the "Source of Information about MBA program" section indicating that I have not visited any Booth organized event. A few weeks later I made arrangements and actually participated in Chicago Booth Live event. It was great, I spoke to many of current and prospective students, and learned tons of useful information. But guess what---I did not change my previous entry about source of information and it still says that I have not visited any Booth events.

Million dollar question---should I contact the admissions office and notify them of my mistake or should I just let it go? Another thing to consider is that I have mentioned visiting Chicago Booth Live in my essays.

Any suggestions?

If you already mentioned it in your essays, I suggest letting it go. I doubt they have some sort of filter that automatically filters out those who didn't go to events. Assuming this piece of the application is judged solely by human eyes, I would say they would pick it up in your essays. That said, it doesn't hurt to e-mail them to see if they can change it (called them a couple times, they seem real nice), but they're probably so busy with Rd 1 apps, they probably won't get to it.

i thought the mid-decision date was the end date by which time no more invites are sent, so interview invites should be sent before nov. 9... like nov 9 for hbs, nov 11 for wharton..

Hi, thanks do you mean by 9 Nov as a period during which the will notify applicants or a specific date when all interview/deny decisions will be released? So is it a period or exact point?

I can't speak to how final decisions were released, though the thread from last year doesn't mention anyone getting dinged prior to the the mid-decision date. Doesn't mean it won't happen this year though.

Hey! What kinda time is 2 340?!?! If you mean 23:40 IST then you pretty much would've made it.. If you mean 2:34, even then you're fine..

you are right .. i am a re-applicant and received my invite 2-3 days before the final notification date...Booth will start sending out invites 2 weeks from oct-12...i am guessing 26th is the day when we shud first hear from ad-com..(booth somehow loves wednesday .. :)

Wow! If so is the case then 26th is going to be a big day for me.. I'd be done with my R1 apps and will have results from both Harvard and Chicago!

Also, its my cousin's b'day on 26th and I hope to have at least some good news that day otherwise the b'day party will have a sad looking dude sulking alone in the corner, probably consuming more than his usual share of alcohol lol..
